A reply has a role to reply to everything written in the topic but a quote as the post here explain is about only one small part that we are want to answer about, so I am think this is a difference and you are correct that we are reply when we talk for all the post in general.

All of the options are actually good feartures to use in the forum but as for me i always prefer making use of the quoting visible feature because all I need is to click on quote not like others that you have to highlight or type @ follow the person name, the two features are also good but i prefer quoting visible feature and i think even the newbies prefer that because it is more simpler compared to others.

Well, that's true mate and the thing is, they're quoting the whole post but they're just pointing out the small sentences in that topic and for us it's really irritating, for those members who are reading in this post, please used the quote selection option.

It is really irritating wh n someone qoutes all your topic or post just for explaining a sentence he understands from your post. Wish he could cuta selected part of the sentence to discuss about it or use any of this option provided by tagging, or qouting a selected part. Of course this topic will help many members.

It is always irritating when you have to go through  a long quote each time you go to next post. But if you quote  only the necessary  part you want to answer that will be fine.

This method is effective and good at quoting long posts, but perhaps the method of explaining the post in this detail is not well understood by beginners. I expect that you have to short the explanation so that everyone can apply the quote

for me i rarely use the second and first options , i prefer the tag to make sure the person i discuss with about something will get the notification , when i was a beginner i used to use the quote a lot since i thought i won't get paid if i don't use it but when i figured out that it is not needed , i only use it when i am replying to someone's post on a topic and use a tag as well

@Flying11Horse ofcource mate , we didn't need to quote whole post because this is look like unusual as well strange also . I also never quote whole post , we can also quote a single line or a paragraph as we want . this is really a great option available in this forum .

Both these options should be used by the users correctly. I also make it a point that I tag people who to comment good content and I agree with 100%. I also qoute those comments that are really comment worthy. This is for the attention of all uses on how to make quotings and tagging in a useful that can better enhance your content creation in this platform.

Dont forget that users also can use multiquoting to answer to different messages or users with the same post, to avoid to do some spam or multiple comments.

You can pick any of this option it is okay, aa you are doing now is the right way to reply to long topic instead of qouting a long post to write fee sentences.
