yes you were successful in explaining spam ! here in cryptotalk some people share spam posts and their post are useless and meaningless but they posts will be deleted and they have to replace them so its better to think more and share some creative posts instead of being a spammer and wasting time.

I didn't identify what is spams in this forum but this explanation tells me what. Spamming ads are annoying just like pop ups that are difficult to remove or close and sometimes they contain virus thankfully my anti virus can recognize the virus immediately. New members and newbies who joined already to Crypto currency project aren't know anything about scammers ! And most of them are believing anyone told them thst they will give him profits if they give him money to invest ! So we have to help them to not fall in this mistake

Not only that is spamming, posting uselessless and unwanted garbages within short time are called spamming, posting same contents are unwanted contents too.

In addition to your explanation we can also say that spam is term that is referred to irrelevant content that is posted on internet on websites that usually has nothing to do with the page that you are viewing or the emails that get send to you but the content of that email is either advertisement or scam and has nothing to do with you directly, in forums like here it's the same thing and we usually refer to an irrelevant post or topic as spam but in forums usually there's a more of a strict rule against spamming because forums are relying more on the quality of posts and they do their best to limit spams as much as they can.

This is a good topic I know there are members who often hear the word spamming but don't really knows its real meaning in simple words an individual is a spammer if he sends unsolicited private message or links that is not safe or phishing and so on.
