Among all, I feel I will go with not revealing your secrets to strangers. Before dealing with any online transactions, it is mandatory to know who you are doing business with. All this scammers have a wonderful ways to lure you to their plans. Let's always be careful, and an end to all this will come.

The best way to avoid scams is to do reasearch before rushing into decisions. An internet search will probably save us from a lot of trouble, as usually other people's experiences and opinions will be very helpful. The problem is that you have to trust these sources. So you need to be experienced enough to understand which sources have value and which don't offer valid information.

You are welcome, but we should know there are other threats than scams, few days a go lost coins on yobit buy  putting wrong address and few days before i lost even more on dice at yobit. Point is there are so many ways to earn here as there are many ways to lose.

Everyday in the crypto world i try to be alert and not fall into scams so i go read docs that will strengthen my knowledge and also do research on a website before i sign up to it. why do i not sign up at all, so they don't just not get my money but my email neither. That's my trick that's how i can't be easily scammed. But today i found an article that would help you guys. And here are the ways to protect yourself from scammers;

  • Be alert to the fact that scams exist.
  • Know who you're dealing with.
  • Do not open suspicious texts, pop-up windows or click on links or attachments in emails – delete them.
  • Don't respond to phone calls about your computer asking for remote access – hang up.
  • Keep your personal details secure
  • Keep your mobile devices and computers secure.
  • Choose your passwords carefully.
  • Review your privacy and security settings on social media.
  • Beware of any requests for your details or money.
  • Be wary of unusual payment requests.
  • Be careful when shopping online.
  • Don't be greedy

NOTE; In the crypto world scammers are everywhere, some of us could not even have known there is something called cryptocurrency if that for that scam call.

If you this content helps you and others out there share and like(React) 😊

Good list but I miss the following: Identity theft scammers want your KYC so be cautious with proviing identity cards. Furthermore never pay to make a withdrawal.

The only solution you can get against scammers is for you to avoid them, everyday, a lot of people do scam people and many others need to be wise or smart so that you won't fall a victim of being scammed

Thing about avoiding, you cant avoid something forever, you will someday meet it face to face, i thought that too, but changed my mind we need another solution.

Appreciate your post my friend. Scams have destroyed our reputation and have created bad things in the cryptotalk forum. Most accounts are banned due to this reason.

I think many accounts are banned on forums not because they are scammers, but rather because they are spammers and plagiarists. I even saw that there were more than 5 accounts that posted copy and paste in the same thread.

Scammers are very educated people!!! Now days they send you an email with a link, then when you open that link you will see that you have won maybe 0.2 BTC but you have to deposit 0.002 so that you can withdraw your reward. My friend, you will cry, never deposit. There is no easy money like that.

Yes brother the post you have posted is actually helpful to stop or reduce scams. Most of the suggestions are covered in this post. I think we should not expose our personal information into social platform. This could invite those hackers to make scam with you. Thank once again for posting this.

The best strategy to avoid being scammed is to not invest or give your money to others online especially if the offer is a very good to hear and offers a huge profit in return. It is in self-moderation and self-discipline that we can stay away and not be a victim of such schemes.
