What will you do if Bitcoin price drop 1000$ after you already buy it at 6000$?

If I'd bought some BTC at 6k I would sell some at 6600, 6700, 6800, 6900 and 7000.

 

Then I'd buy again at 6000, 5900... If the drop to 1000 is rapid, I might stop buying and see how low the price will get. My current rile is not to spend all the byuing funds in the pair, so I would have some $$$ left to buy some BTC even for $1000. I would sell a small amount for $1500-2000 to have some $$$ should the price go even lower.

In such situation, I will do nothing expect waiting to see what will be the next move. Some price drops are very temporary and may soon be followed by a big price jump. The worst possible scenario is that price drops heavily and reaches below $4000. Even in this case, selling is wrong because bitcoin will always regain its lost value. $6000 is a pretty good value for purchasing bitcoin and it rarely happens that it goes lower than that after purchase.

@Babubu609 I dont think there is anything much you can do, because its either you drop the trade and take that 500% loss or you wait for the price to break even there is no other option other than the two, there is how ever the idea of hedging though thats something I would have to check, or what do you say @George10.

I think patience pays and in this case I was going to wait for the price to pump in or break out of which it does sometimes  but this needs someone to be careful when taking this step.

First I'm not sure if that safe because who will guaranty your lost especially the money you borrow you may not able to pay back its risky mission but for me I will just wait to the price until raise again

In my opinion, the most correct decision will be waiting, bitcoin will certainly grow. There is no point in selling at such a low price anymore, since the losses are already very strong.

Patience is good, if I am the one, I will further holding my bitcoin, because I know that the price will still increase back and above before price. Unlike many altcoins that will not get back to such price but further to reduce.

That is why it is good for anyone that want to hold bitcoin or trade it to know more about trading, because with it, the price of bitcoin can be predicted, and using stop loss to cut losses in many times. Some people are able to hold because they believe no matter the price of bitcoin decrease that it will still increase.

I know many will say as you said that you will buy more and hold untill it rises agian but situation doesn't go that way. The one who really bought that will be in hypertension. Definitely I will hold it and never ever think of selling it for sure.Crypto has a volatile market and the fluctuation in the prices if coins is common so we shouldn't be panic in such situations and should remain calm and patient and wait for its rise again.Currently the BTC is at its highest price ever and the people who trusted it would be very happy now.
