Why much people still think Crypto is gambling?

you need to know the first time the crypto appeared and was famous for gambling. and the biggest contributor in using crypto transactions is gambling. it becomes the view of the general public that crypto is mostly used for gambling.

In my opinion, Cryptocurrency price can increase or decrease 100% in one day that's why some people called it's a gambling. So far i know for this reason some country banned cryptocurrency with this reason. But its depend on market or buyer or seller. I have a question Share price of a company can dump r pump 100% but why can't share market called Gambling?

When you are trading a high volatile coin so yes it is considered gambling. on the other hand, when you are holding some low volatile or stable coins so it is considered an investment. By the way, everyone has their own prospect to see how they treat it.

yes its kind of betting market. many people are trading and betting the price. why i said its a betting market not business platform, because nobody knows the prediction of market. no body knows where the price will be reach. so people open trades as bets with risk.

Some people enter and exit crypto market based on chance. They invest some money and think crypto is the market of luck. Some of them will get good profit by chance and the others lose huge money. This kind of behavior in crypto world has led to the foundation of a belief that crypto is a kind of gambling but this is absolutely wrong. A gamble is anything you risk without having a confident conclusion whether you will win or lose. Just like in decentralized cryptocurrencies, where the price action is more unpredictable than regular economic markets. The price volatility because of manipulation and FOMO makes it difficult and the risk is somewhat gambling your own funds into an investment of high risk.

 

Every investment is a gamble really, they just differ in their degree of risks. Some are more safer than others, but often yield smaller profits.

Some people tends to think that crypto is just the same for gambling because some gambling site nowadays accepts bitcoin as a payment. Many people in different forums are also promoting some gambling sites to have profit which is doubt if its true because if you really want to have profit you will be doing trade and not gambling.

guess they dont have enough information and all they know is some of bet sites use crypto coins as payment method.i beleive that is  our responsibility to give them information and we should teach them about real crypto world and make crypto community bigger

In my country they see this as a biggest scam in the world becouse of the fake news spread by the most bias network called abs-cbn.and also crypto sometimes is like a gamble specially if you are investing using it.

The forum is attended by people with different experience and time in the crypto world. For some it is a game for some it is a side job and for some it is a serious type of earnings. This will always be the case beginners will gain experience and they will be replaced by inexperienced ones.
