Well, you can learn or know if the project or program is good by some easy steps. First is that if it's popular. Well, it is already given that the program is legit if it is popular or know by different users. Second, if the program has a good reputation or feedback from the users of it. If it has bad reputation or feedback, then you shall not use it or try to join to it. Well, that's how I manage to learn a good project or program that I joined.

We might consider some factors for filtering out the scam projects. Nowadays, scammers have found the new techniques to cheat users by using the so called self drop programs and there are so many ponzi schemes. We should avoid such projects if they are repeatedly asking us for payment.
