I investing all my money in 1 coin. is this is risky or safe ?

Recommended Posts

I think it was a risk, don't you think that it would be better to split your invesments rather than risking it in one coin.

Although i think investing in a coin is a good decision but it is 'take the risk or lose the chance'

Its high risk, put your half money into bitcoin and half more into top ten altcoin like cardano, stellar, ripple and of course ethereum

Yup i agree with you. It is better to put all of your money into bitcoin. I think its has low risk.

I'm pretty sure this has been said a lot of times already, but I'll say it too: Investing all in just 1 coin is very risky indeed.

There are already plenty of anecdotes and real life stories out there either losing it or winning the jackpot. But I'll bet the number of stories of losing is higher than winning.

So take heed of the warnings. This thread has gone over 20+ pages with similar warnings so it surely must count for something.

This does not only apply to cryptocurrencies; it applies to real world investments too.

I don't recommend that for you, it is really not good, you can lose your money in one shot, from you topic I understand that you want to be rich really fast, just take it easy and think before you make a move

It's risky putting all you have in one coin, I suggest just a half or ¾ ,as we all know investing is always risky, but have faith for better

I think the risk was high since if that coin you are investing was down literally it might be lose all your investment. the best practice of other was they are just investing in the multiple portfolios or coins/token. just keep in mind that choose only those promising coins/tokens in the market.

the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of fascinating tasks that can be upheld.

Be that as it may, i'm a little financial specialist (300$) and i'm genuinely thinking to place all my cash in just 1 venture I believe is awesome which curretly is in the best 10 of altcoins. I would prefer not to say the name on the grounds that my theme needs to be extremely broad: what do you believe is the hazard thusly? Would it be advisable for me to put resources into 2 or 3 coins?

Placing all your capital in a single cryptocurrency is not healthy, you can lose your money's value as you are subject to a market that is governed by zero rules.
Even if you do it with 2 or 3 you're still in danger, the best thing you can do is invest it in cryptocurrencies that are veteran and not in new erc20 tokens, now, if you divide all that into 5 or 4 altcoins, it may be a little better but as I tell you, avoid taking new tokens as they are not subject to a mature community and volatility definitely does not forgive anyone.
Take caution and make long-term projections, do not let them handle refiners for new coins or anything like that.

that's very dangerous mate, you must spread out you capital in different potentials coins in the market.

Then, hold them all. But if you really want to use it in one coin, you still do it but for Bitcoin and Ethereum only.

yes this is very dangerous because if we invest our all money in just a single coin then we can make a big loss if that coin will not go up so much so i just suggest you that buy minimum just ten types of coins and safe them for future and i hope you will get good profit.

Unless it is Bitcoin or ETH,  your money would be okay but if your planning to put and bet it on one token that will be risky since you doesn't know if that token will reach the exchange or nor or maybe it will take too much time to bloom...

yes, it is the king and queen of Cryptocurrency. both are two complementary coins, but Ethereum falls too deep. in 2017 when bitcoin was priced at $ 4000 - $ 5000 USD Ethereum was priced at $ 300 - $ 400 USD. now Bitcoin has reached the price of $ 9000 USD but ETH is still less than $ 200 USD

If you are going to start trading crypto for the first time, you should invest with a little money, for example ($ 50 - $ 100) and only for one coin, if this has been successful you can add money and try other crypto currencies, but for a while do not more than 3 coins because you will be busy watching changes in prices.

It's not at all sensible decision to invest all money in a single coin it's lot risky, & u might loose all your funds if the coin dumps. Warren buffet has already advised crypto traders that ," never put your all eggs in single basket". Try to always diversify your portfolio and invest in multiple assets.

I think you have a right of $ 300 a small amount to divide it and it is better to invest it in one currency that is promising.  You just have to improve the selection of the currency maybe double the amount 10 times

its still too risky , you have to make your chances bigger , if you bough one coin with all your 300 $ the coin can dump  and not up and here the losses come

Sometimes diversify your assets might cause you to high risks. So I don't see bad in investing it in one altcoins

totally wrong dude, one of the most important rules in cryptotrading is not to put all your eggs in one box , the trader must follow it if he want to earn money

I think that risk is an inevitable result.  There is no investment or trading guaranteed results without risk.  We just have to reduce the risk ratios by following analysis and study methods

yes i know there is risk as long we are trading in crypto , but what i meant that if you invest all your money in one coin you just make the risk higher

Well, it is so risky to put all out your money for 1 coin. I think its better to make it more big and then if you have excess ,it will serve as your credit to exchange. Unlike investing all, because there is no assurance that it will grow.

I'm no trading expert, but putting all your money in one coin is like putting all your money in one bank. Sure it's secure, but what if something happens to it? The best thing to do is spread your money out into 5-10 different cryptocurrencies.

The more options you have the better it will be incase the market crashes. Bitcoin is a good start, but it's not the only cryptocurrency out there, so I would try some different alt coins. For the times when Bitcoin is looking bearish, you could have another coin that is extremely bullish, and vice versa.

A very good way is to diversify your investment. crypto market is very volatile in nature and if you diversify your investment then you feel no worry.

In my opinion, investing in one coin from the top-40 is not very risky. But at the same time, I do not think that such an investment will bring you much profit. Top coins are less volatile than new ones, so they are less interesting ... But this is my personal opinion. Each has its own strategy.

It is depend on your analysis, as what the experts analyze and recommend but make sure that you have search enough to invest and take risk,

Yeah it depends to your own analysis but i think it is still risky to put your money on one project. We all know that no one can predict the movements of the market even expert made mistakes in predicting the movement.

I think all investments have their own risks and investing in crypto is more risky than stocks, your mindset needs to be changed because in the world of trading or portfolio investment is the most important where you divide your funds into different assets, Yes, investing in 1 asset is more risky than anything except traditional assets like gold.

Yes it is too much risky. I suggest you to never invest all of your money in one coin. If you invest all of your money in one coin you will face a very big loss that you can recover. So I think anyone shouldn't invest all of their money in one coin.
