This is a very nice question. Investing cryptocurrency is almost like storing it but depending on the angle you are viewing it from. I can say that why storing cryptocurrency you can also invest it by staking it on a very good platform. I can decide to invest in ethereum by buying and storing it on a very good platform.

Safe way is to stored it. Buy bitcoin or any currencies that you like and store it in your wallet and just open it once the bull run is already there. 

 

Investing is a little bit riskier especially if you have no enough resources to do it correctly as there is a big chance that you will lost all your money in a single wrong move.

I keep looking on google, it all says the same thing that "Namecoin" was the very first altcoin. And litecoin is also not the first in case you thought that way. It seems like namecoin has the total supply as bitcoin which is only 21 Million.
