I want to buy a GPU to mine my judgment. I am choosing between AMD 570 and NVidia 1060.

In your opinion, which one is more efficient about the problem of consuming power?

In terms of noise and which coins will be mined which is better and many choices for these two types?

RX570 has slightly higher hash rate but it isn't as energy efficient as 1060. You can hit average 25mh/s with 570 at 120-130w and could do couple more hashes with custom bios but it means warranty void if you into that. 1060 gives average 23-25mh/s at 85-100w but the 1060 has to be the 6gb version not 3gb. The noise is dependent on the manufacturer of the card, ASUS and EVGA has quiet fans usually, and Gigabyte not so much but noise won't be a problem either way with just 1 card.

Many would say get a 570 since its a tad bit cheaper(the 4gb one) , but I'd go for 1060 6gb as it's more of a better all rounder, is more energy efficient and has a better resale value. All depends on the price difference of these cards aswell.

When compared to AMD 570 and NVidia 1060, of course I would recommend that you use NVidia 1060. And @Khan King also suggests the same thing, because there are many people who use NVidia 1060.

Yeah, of course the more better the equipment to more expensive it gets, and there are so many factors some of them which are efficiency, and your return on investment time, estimated electrical costs, whether it can last long or not?

When it comes to cryptocurrency mining the Radeon RX 570big certainly a much better graphics card compared to Geforce GTX1060.RX 570 has much higher hashrate than GTX 1060 and you can say that GTX 1060 is power efficient.Nvidia cards are priced higher thEn AMD because Nvidia higher priced cards have more power efficient where AMD does not  have a product competing there.

I recommend NVidia 1060. it has better capacity, it has almost no bad issues, and safety issues are more regular. As far as I know. So use NVidia 1060.

anyway, nvidia 1060 seems more powerfull than the amd 570

Actually from these two i will recommend you to use amd 570. Because it has a high hash power than the other but it is not as efficient in energy saving as nvidia1060. So it is now your own decision which one you need to buy.

I will suggest you go by Nvidea 1080. It is one of the best and efficient way to mine

 Not really mostly but you need more than 1. The more the money the more the profit.

You can research very well on nvidea. They have the best miming GPU with the best overclocking abilities.

As I can see this topic was created in january so my advice is still available: Don't chose one of these 2 GPUs because you will regret it. Invest a RX 5700,you will get between 50 and 56 Mh/s for 136 watts on Ethash algorithm (ETH/ETC...).

I real don't know that much about mining because am not using it. I used a mining site at once before it harms my laptop because of over heat. Now am just stick with trading and other investing in crypto.

These two devices are good but for me I prefer to use NVidia 1060 and we know my friend that the higher the price of the device the better for mining and the NVidia 1060 has less energy consumption

@bitcoinb Thanks bro, i was using mining pad website. But i think they were scammers because they harmed my laptop and now they sell their domain "miningpad.com" i stopped mining for sometime since this happened, i only trade for now but i will check for other mining opportunities later.

I think that Nvidia gtx 1060 is better. I know that Nvidia is more energy effective, but AMD is cheaper. I think that choice depends on your opportunities. If you have enough money, I recommend to buy nvidia, otherwise buy amd

I would go for RX 570 because you can easily get 25mh/s at 120W at higher core clock speed. I think both are great GPU for mining. I would go for real cloud mining by buying great plans to earn more than GPU mining.

For me, I think NVidia 1060 is the best in terms of speed in processing, spending electricity and making profits, and I am sure there are a large number of people using NVidia 1060.

That best graphic cards for mining are Nvedia, but there are some coins that support AMD than to use Nvedia, many coins are also more nvedia specific. You need to research about the coin you want to mine, to know the best one to choose. But for bitcoin, Nvedia is the best.
