  1. Most likely a scam advert. I’ve seen similar ones on the reviews of crypto websites on scam advisor websites. They all begin with the same story, basically lost money on a scam etc, and hired a ‘fund recover’ person and end up successful, recovered their funds blah blah blah. Honestly I have no idea how even the concept of ‘fund recovering’ works, and most of the times those accounts are just spam accounts with like only a few of the same posts. These people are just preying on people who have already been scammed, to scam them even further. (double scammed?) This is honestly horrible and is just degrading the trust and sanity of a person if he/she gets scammed and then gets scammed again.
  2. Also like to add, some of the scam sites also like to create fake ‘scam or legit’ websites, where they will pretend that their site is real with ‘proof of payments’ and will have a link straight into their sites. You cannot really trust much online in this crypto ‘scam’ world, these scammers are willing to deceive and trick you at any opportunity.
  3. I agree that reCaptcha is probably the more ‘best’ and well-known captcha, most of us are quite familiar with it already and its style. However with reCaptcha, theres always a few categories of the ‘select the square with....’ that is more confusing to me. Sometimes when they ask you to select the traffic light, I get really confused as when I select ALL the squares with traffic lights (including the traffic light casings etc), it will pop up with a ‘failed’ message and prompt me to do a different one. I’m still not sure if I am supposed to click only the squares with the traffic lights excluding the casings, and thus whenever I do a ‘traffic light’ captcha there’s a high chance I would just fail it and have to do a different one, so I just find it very very slightly annoying. But I really appreciate that other captchas are also finding their own unique and very interesting ways as solutions for captchas, I’ve recently seen one where they’ll ask for the hair colours, and there’s also the one where you have to drag a rectangle around a door.
  4. Really have to watch whales carefully, their decisions can affect many others hugely, as said by their name ‘whales’, they leave huge ripples of water in their wake that can overturn your boat or if you’re observant enough you can use it to your favour. Some of them just hold huge amounts of capital and crypto and buy/sell, hugely affecting market price, especially if the crypto is smaller in terms of market, meaning one person with big enough capita can literally control small crypto coin markets.
  5. BTC confirm will survive corona. Many people use Bitcoin, and furthermore blockchain runs independently, miners can mine by themselves too, bitcoin can be transferred online, dont even need physical transaction etc. BTC is also already recovering from previous huge drop, now it around 7k, really have to admit bitcoin seems kinda ‘stable’ with its good ability to recover, as long as BTC users continue to support Bitcoin, it will survive.
  6. To be honest, if this program ends i will not have much will to continue in this forum anymore, as there are other more interesting and better crypto forums that have more better responses even without using pay per posts program. Should this program end i wont be surprised should a majority of people become not active due to this. We can’t really expect much from this program, its like buying followers/clicks/viewers on a social media site, in the end most of them are bots/people whose sole aim is to earn money only.
  7. Yeah, i’ve heard it being used it the dark web before. As Bitcoin is secure safe and untraceable, these people in the black market accept Bitcoin as it is safe and they cant be tracked down. I heard of news before that a man hired a hitman to kill someone through the dark web using bitcoin. Im sure there will be many other bad services and goods on the dark net that accept Bitcoin as payment like hacking services etc. This is actually really bad as they are doing crimes and harming others, and also they tend to be fake and run away with your money as they are untraceable too, so you wont get anything good out of this. Stay away from the dark web and the black markets.
  8. I would rather choose ripple, i’ve heard more about it online before, and i think ripple is more widespread than stellar. With ripple’s volatility, you can also easily trade it, and it seems to be it has a higher chance of going up, so i’d rather hold ripple than stellar. If im not wrong, ripple also is with some banks for online payment, meaning there is ‘some sort’ of backing from the banks.
  9. I mean would this be possibly rare to happen? If you say a person accidentally changed one of the letters in an address and keyed in the wrong one, that address is most likely not even used once before. But then again if this really happens, of course the first thing is to wait or try to contact the person who sent it. And also check if it was actually another transaction from something you know.
  10. Casino should NEVER be a place to earn money or get excitement. Everything can go downhill in a second, whether it is your wallet or your psychological condition. For all reading, please dont start gambling with anything, even if it is virtual currency. The thought of ‘doubling’ your money in one action is very enticing, and sure you will feel happy. But thats the aim of such gambling places, wanting you to feel ‘happy’ and ‘lucky’ before you gamble all your money away. How do you know a gambling site is real either? It could be rigged and you might not know, just stay away from casino places.
  11. I agree with you. When i was googling for a possibly scam site, i came across videos and websites. Most of them had similar titles, like ‘Is xxxx.com a scam’? All of them usually said the same thing, ‘no they are not scams’, and they had links leading to the said website that seemed to be ‘tracking’ links, most likely to track the number of people redirected to the scam site so the scammers can pay those video/website creators as payment. These days, scammers can do anything with money, they can change your opinion on their scam sites by just getting others to put fake information. Always be careful of everything you see online, including those bounty programs.
  12. I feel that the current virus outbreak could be a factor too. Major countries are being affected, so are their markets that in turn affect the price of crypto. Some of you may have encountered such monetary losses, but the people who are suffering are the ones who are being affected the most. Bitcoin and other crypto prices should go up again once this event blows over, but for now we should not keep looking at the money and materialistic side of this and look to the human side and find ways to help people and stay safe in this outbreak.
  13. I think ive heard about this in another topic? So these people who have a lot of crypto capital who use these to invest are called 'whales'? So basically you are big enough to affect others and the crypto price, positively or negatively. So if having $500,000 in bitcoin is not really that much to control the price, how much is enough? Millions or tens of millions?
  14. I understand that crypto should be taxed in order to help governments, but thw main thing is how to collect it? Do they expect millions of crypto users to give their transaction details to the government every year? Will it be accurate? Will we even remember to keep track of those transactions? If government really want the tax money, they should think of a better convenient way to tax everyone. Also, for example if a currency is really unstable, perhaps the people in that country can switch over to a stable coin, ensuring their money will not disappear in a second.
  15. Waste of time amd money. Ive tried an apo called hashimy (not sure if spelled that wrong) , and they gave me a free mining rate of around 10?Th/s thatvonly lasted for 10 days... Not enough to buy more hash rate, at a minimum of like $1.90? Even if you forked out that tiny bit of money for that 2 year contract, you ROI would be in 1 year, NOT including mantainence fee. At this rate, i wonder its even a profit at all and did not bother to calculate it. Deleted instanly.
