In 30 years time many cryptocurrency that around now will vanish but the best and most promising ones with valid projects like bitcoin and the firstvten major ones will continue to exist. During these years new projects will come with superb tecnology and more innovative ideas.

I think bitcoin price will go more than $50,000 in 2050. In 2050 crypto will be main currency and everybody will start using crypto and crypto will be very famous. So i think crypto has very nice future.

I have a feeling that crypto will reach it full potential or in the other term, it will grow more. And also, I think that in that year, most of the countries in the world will finally accepting bitcoin in their local market or economy.

In my opinion the the acceptance of people will continue to the cryptocurrency as the time flows. But there will be many modifications. Maximum countries will apply their own rules of regulations on crypto. The tax will be applicable. So it will be more regulated.

It is difficult to predict for so many years ahead. But on the way to 2050 if everything is positive the cryptocurrency will take more root in the financial market. Many States and banks will accept cryptocurrency officially.

You ask something that I don't know the answer, if bitcoin progress not very good in 5 years a head I believe before 2050 bitcoin will disappear. That' the realistic thing I get in my brain but I see many optimist people and developer about bitcoin will make crypto world survive.

if we just imagine than we are seeing bitcoin every where. every thing in the world is being exchanged with crypto currencies. cross border payments and local online offline purchases are being done in crypto currency.

We will make everything dependent on technology in 2050.For example, a father would pay his son money by hand through btc.If someone buys something then btc will be used for that..As well as getting married, btc will be given as a wedding salute.Then btc will cost millions of dollars

I am in taxi and my fair is 0.005 BTC .that's what i can imagine .I pull out my mobile (That time their would be something else) and ask drive BTV address and send it my fair.After that i start seeing new product online and order some stuff and paid it in ETH.Thats the era of crypto currency and i am dealing in crypto .

Yes, I think in 2050 people have used Bitcoin and countries have all used it as a transaction tool. Even life goes very well and easily. There is no longer a difference between rich and poor, all the same.

2050 is so far away as 1990 was - who would have predicted then, that we will have such advanced and multifunctional mobiles?

 

But anyway, we should see the blockchain revolution, and our lives without it would be as hard to imagine as now without Internet.

 

What can we reasonably expect?

1. Privacy coins banned and wallets being offered by banks. No anonymous wallets allowed as well.

2. For international transfers, XRP or comparable crypto could replace SWIFT/IBAN systems for good

3. Further split of cryptocurrencies into different categories, and most of current existing ones being wiped out

4. Cryptocurrencies which are a store of value should have enormous price for today standards

 

And it could happen, that after some big crisis some countries could try to abandon their own unsable currency and switch to crypto.

2050 is to long to go we are not able to predict what will happen. This year or after some months it may go back to the last year price of $3000 or it may sky rocket, and with in months it may cross $15000 and more, but predictions are not reality. let us hope for the best and in the long run we get good earnings if Bitcoin goes up and all depends on market conditions.

We never know what will happen even if only in the next 10 years, but in my opinion, Bitcoin may no longer be an asset but has become a means of payment, then the price of Bitcoin will be possible. It will not be the same as it is now determined by supply and demand.  Returning to the principle of payment instruments must in fact be stable and affordable for all people.

Nobody knows if BTC is still the leading currency then. I don't even know if I am alive then (I would be far in the eighties). And given the market capitalization, I think figures like 1 million per coin are way too optimistic.

 

And something to think about: if there really was an "everybody gets rich" scheme, what do you think will happen to the prices? And don't you think the really rich people now would do anything they can to prevent it?

 

Simple illustration ... most people are relatively wealthy here (compared to cross European standards), and a cappuccino in a bar costs $5 here. A bread something like $3, and dinner in a restaurant over $30. So if enough people get wealthy, the prices will follow.
