Make some research and study a lot dude. But there are ICO's that starts with low prices, look first for the use of this coin, like on yobit, coins are being promote there through InvestBox. I think coins there has potentials but I  believe that time will come that they will start losing there value. Like the coin AIR and LIKE, they started at a really high value but after days, started to fall constantly. The coin X10, I believe it started it's value at 1 satoshi, but look at it now, it's current value is 8 satoshis, I believe it reached about 30 satoshis each. But then also, starting to go down. 
This ICO's I believe are just a short term coins to be hold.

99.99% ICO projects are scam so is pretty impossible find a good project. investing here, for me, is just an high risk-low rewards.

 

the best thing to do is to find some project that has a good fundamentals and invest in all of them maybe 1 or 2 of them will give you some gains

Because other new coins can disappear if there's no investors and money to operate the coins, A lot of coins gone disappear in market at first they can pay you but eventually all of their investment is gone also. Yes this is one thing I  really want to know more , how to invest in rewarding coins, I dont know how to do it, its really easy to run the market in a much different form , but there are so many coins out there that could  make you  a lot of cash. even up coming ones, there is this coin the other day just gaine 130% in just a day, I mean if you would have invested avount 1000$ then that day you would have walked home with about 2300$ with 1300$ being profit. so how to identify them and even buy and hold is one tough thing to do.
