Ethereum future is very hard to see. Because there's still no real development happening all this time. The next big thing that may happen with ethereum is the launch of ETH 2.0 that keeps delayed since last year. But, there's a good news, ethereum just broke the long bearish price since 5 months ago 2 days ago I think. They finally able to reached $200, and they cannot reach that price for the last 4-5 months. The price of eth $220 now. Feb 5 the price was still on $188.

Altcoins specifically solves what Bitcoin has disadvantages with. Ethereum, being the second ranked based on market cap, proves to be one contender in getting adoption as same as Bitcoin could have in digital payment systems.

Ethereum is the best coin out there, ever better than bitcoin. Bitcoin can do 7 transactions in a second, and eth can do 13 transactions in a second. Eth has to ability to deploy dapps on their blockchain. Dapps can be the future of the app industry.

It might reach 400$ and perhaps more. We are waiting for the official release of Ethereum 2.0 somewhere around this summer and there is already too much fomo happening about this. From what I've read it will be released some time in 2020 but nothing is official yet.

We are already in the year 2020 and your prediction will likely to happen earlier in this year as Ethereum is already sitting at 218$. 

 

And few hundreds left we can hit the 400$ Ethereum price especially that it's price is increasing steadily. For sure Ethereum has a great future in this year 2020.
