I don't know if Christmas is the perfect time for a Bitcoin rise, in fact sometimes I have read that investors are selling during this time and perhaps are buying luxury items and new houses as gifts to some people. It is not sure that the Christmas days help the price or not, to me as trader it is the same as others.

It's a known fact that during festival periods the demand of commodities usually rises and these is also the same with cryptocurrencies, bitcoin to be precise, so hopefully the price will rise again during these years Christmas period

It is somewhat insecure, but not because it is a festive date will go up, this will depend a lot on the investors, in fact I think that this is the date when more people change their money to their national or traditional currency so perhaps instead of going up they will keep their value or go down a bit.

We can not predict the changes because it is all related with the demand of the crypto currency but there is a chance of increase in the price but we can't predict the future of anything. It will be all depending on the customer if they started to increase the demand it will continuously move to a higher price.

I can't say exactly what will happen at this year Christmas. But mostly there will be traders who will liquidate their Crypto to fiat. Those who are in business will get bonus from business but for those in trading they need profit. So their is chance of dump during the Christmas session.

I heard the same thing last year but I didn't see any rise after Christmas 2020 and I think it will be the same with 2021. There must be some reason for the rise of crypto and Christmas alone is not enough. Three weeks left until the end of the year and if nothing happens that can change the direction of the market, there will be no rise. Usually, the first 2 or 3 months after the new year, the rise starts to happen if we suppose everything stays the same and there will be no positive or negative news or events.

Christmas is an optional for the traders as most of the online market are closed specially the stock market and there is a very rare chance that crypto will increase at that day.

Nobody knows tomorrow but to be sincere during Christmas most of the traders convert there crypto into fiat currency for many purposes and after then most of them will go offline for a while and have fun with there family during the festive holidays and these affect the price of crypto which lead to fluctuations. But I hope the price rise during these year Christmas.

This is something difficult to know because we know that the demand in these times is more people who exchange crypto, but nevertheless its value can be maintained as it can go down because many change their crypto to tangible currency.

@kizz Normally, trading during the Christmas & New Yr Holidays, really slows down. The traders are on holiday from around the 15th December till around the 2nd week of January. That is the norm for the stock market, Forex market, metals, etc. How this applies to the Crypto trading world, I imagine it will also slow down. So, expect to see BTC to either stay in a range / channel or maybe even a drop in price. But then again, who knows as there are some many factors that influence the price of BTC.

It is rather the other way, now is the season of holidays and with Christmas, people need fiat money to buy gifts for their loved ones and enjoy their holiday, lots of people will sell out their Cryptocurrencies for fiat money, so it is normal to have drop in the prices of crypto in general.

Exactly dear friend and I also thought that at Christmas the price of cryptocurrencies would drop since there are many people who need money for gifts and other necessities since Christmas is the time to spend money therefore people need it

I could not tell you that the market will go down or up but I can tell you that Christmas is the date where more cryptocurrencies are exchanged for fiat money since it is a festive stage in the world where many people need new clothes and buy toys.

Hopefully the value of cryptocurrencies for the holidays, that would be a very good thing.
But I think they are going to go down since the vast majority of people will want to make a gift or take out for expenses this Christmas, so if many people sell the price will go down.

We are close this year and perhaps it will slow down a little as price since yesterday is looking very bullish again. I don't think the value of crypto will go up during Christmas because many people that are hodling their coins will be selling their coins in order to buy Christmas gifts to their loved ones and I think this can affect the price of many crypto currency to fall in the crypto market.

Hey mate, you are right at Christmas crypto coin price might fall because they need a fiat money,so they will sell their coin, as a result crypto coin price might down that time  but we can not say exactly what will be happen at Christmas time but time will say our answer.
