The funds involved actually do matter as you take different risks with money that you can afford to lose and making different trades if you can't handle the pressure of trading big. Basically it matters because while trading you can lose all your funds if you don't take correct steps to protect your trades. If you trade with more than you can afford to lose then this will affect you, mostly in a negative way in your trading strategy.

Always trade small guys, at amounts that won't matter much if you lose.

Exactly this. In gambling and especially in poker, the pros are using a risk management procedure called bankroll management. What they do is gamble just 2% of their gambling bankroll each time, in order to be able to survive downswings. Also their gambling banroll consists of a maximum 2% of their bank account.  I'm sure that bankroll management can be implemented in trading as well. Although in trading probably you will get out of a trade before reaching zero so it would need to be adjusted. I.e. trading with high leverage would mean less amount to bet, and no stop loss. I seriously hope someone did research on this, I will try to find and update if I see something useful.

Thanks for the well analysed tip on trading it's helpful and straight forward,it's also true that we shouldn't concentrate much on the amount of earnings or profits for a trade when trading because it can lead us into making mistakes that can be costly.

My dear this is correct but if we only trade 1 dollar we have different style to trade and we can risk this dollar with higher risk. The more we are trade it we are need to adapt and make more time for the trade. It is not the same if someone wants to buy a million and us with one dollar. according to my humble opinion, you need to be smart  and at the same time money, because if you have good and intelligent strategies and do not have capital you will not be able use those strategies and vice versa.

Earning huge profit every day is simply impossible no matter how smart or clever you are. There is a ceiling for profit in each day and this is something determined by the whole traders acting on the market not just one trader's smartness. Being smart helps you to keep what you have already earned. To increase it, you need to trade successfully for months without failure. For me, being smart means to switch positions at the right time to escape from the market when it is close to a big collapse.

most traders end up wasting their profits because of the way they keep trading after they had a successful trade, for me i always take out my profits and wait for the market to come down for me.
