I do not think there is much what to do to avoid scammers on telegram, it is simple and easy, just stop communicating with a stranger, or strangers. Especially when they are introducing you to a business or telling you to send money or perform some tasks.

Thanks for the tip but there are a lot of advanced bots and I think they will bypass that settings because the bots are made using the AI technology but again Telegram need some powerful tool/setting to stop the scammer on their end.

Scammers are plenty on telegram, the phone time I opened telegram, a scammer messaged me immediately I joined a group, scammers are very plenty on telegram and we need to be very careful.

I think this is good information ,I almost got scammed the other day on telegram , though after asking me for my ether account or wallet I did send it to them and its possible that is going to be really bad for me am hoping it does not affect me at any point its important that it does not

I have been a victim of telegram spammers numerous times, on an average I receive dm from unknown persons like 15 times daily, I hope these tutorials will bring an end to that.

i like to try to waste the scammers time on telegram. asking them a bunch of questions, asking them to post screen shots, i sometimes even sign up for their BS web page, just wasting their time, etc. i figure, if they are involved talking to me, they arent trying to scam someone else. i also usually report them to the owner of any group that they found me on. i will also post in the group, to watch out for the scammer, with screen shots, his / her name, etc., with the owners / admin permission. always ask for permission 1st before posting about the scammer.

 

if you can get their email addy, you can spam the crap out of them. i have just recently took out a sex ad using a scammers whatapp phone num. hopefully they will have to change their num.

 

get creative when you screw the scammers. they deserve it. its also good for a laugh if your bored.

Thank you for sharing this useful post information, on Telegram there are many scammers who disguise themselves representing coin airdrop ect and begin to join people in a group for a supposed airdrop or raffle, suddenly they request a deposit of x amount of ETH,LTC XLM or any currency. be careful of that scammers, remember No official Airdrop will request a deposits from any user.

When I opened my telegram account last month,  alot of scammers added me to different groups, probably they knew I was a novice to telegram...I removed them one after the other...their platform were all about investing in money, so I knew thwy were not up to no goodness....I wiped them off my telegram...I beleive that with my little knowledge about them..I won't fall into any scammers trap because I don't want to loose any of my money to them.

Some people are supposed not to be scammed, but they were scammed because they are greedy. Lake dealing away and avoiding strangers will help very well. Some people like to invest on what they do not know about and investing with strangers, why won't they be scammed.

Telegram scams are obvious, we can know them easily, when I wanted to participate in an airdrop, scammer do like admin, saying we should send money to one bitcoin address, when I ink airdrop should be completely free, what about someone telling you to invest, I can't. These are just simple things to follow, while many people are scammed like that.

Telegram scam can be very obvious but only for people that know the scam truly exists, like your examples, they are only simple for you because you have the experience about scam, there are some people that know nothing about this before until they are scammed.

 There has many reason why we get added in telegram scam group..  Often we join in different kind of fake airdrop so from those kind of fake airdrop group scammer take our username and added in their scam investment group...  But its really good guidelines you have given about how to avoid scam group in telegram...

Exactly you can stop people adding you to groups and channel from setting. I really like telegram its really creative and cool but there are a lot of scammers in telegram. Telegram blocks scam channels and bots but they never end and the most annoying scammers are the one who dm you and pretend like they are admin of a exchange or something like that.

There are many scammers in the telegram and one thing more I don't know who add me in these groups we have to far away from them because it's only wastage of time and then I ask from friends about secure my account that no one can add me in these groups..
