i'm already doing this, i'm lending my ethereum and DAI thanks to DeFi platforms. the ethereum blockchain offers this opportunity because of their smart contracts so you can be sure that you will always receive your money.

but i would not lending other than DeFi

Not doing it, because there are already a lending platform where people can borrow some assets in their platform, which I recommend to do. And I also don't want to give some loans to other people. They better use their own money, or their savings, than make a loan or something.

The problem with loaning out money or crypto, is that you have to put trust that the borrower will actually pay you back in time. If the collaterals are instantly provided in case of delay, and they can be easily liquidated then it would be a good deal. Although still you'd have to put trust into some centralized platform. Defi is looking into decentralizing these financial instruments but right now they have major flaws even in their code, so it is impossible to trust this tech, at least for now.

As for me I can't lend anyone or company my cryptocurrency even when they promise to pay an interest never because anything can happen in crypto and its not even advisable to borrow some crypto for investment as you do not no either you will really make an interest or meet scamer and last time a friend was asking me to borrow him $1 of bitcoins so that he can invest in a double bitcoin investment site and pay me back my $1 with interest but I refused because I know that those sites are scams and I was not going to help him in any way as he was going to remain with nothing from what he borrowed but only my credit of $1 and it was going to be hard for him to pay back... and I was the one who was going to lose my crypto in the way of wanting an interest..this is just an example of how borrowing can affect you its not good at all.

Of course not, it is very risky and can cause problems to both borrower and lender for cryptocurrency tends to fluctuate often, price changes fast and yes you may lend it now but what if the coin does have a pump up? and your coin is not in you but in the borrowers wallet, how will you maximize your assets? so better to have full control of your money than lending it and losing opportunities

No,never do that. Lending is risky,there may be advantages but the risks involved with it is can be regretful crypto market is very much volatile so while arbitragers try to make a profit out of it. The lenders/borrowers might suffer a set back if the money repaid/borrowed has dipped throughout the day

No i don’t think so.  If you want to earn money by taking loan its too much risky. If you lost money YOU can't overcome from it. So i think its very stupid idea.
