How binance will refund the asset? binance also have the maximum asset they can refund it. SAFU only have 5000-10000 btc to refund the asset hacked. All user fund more than that amount.

This is really important topic and it should be taken seriously, i protect my crypto wallet by keeping its private key on physical paper in writing and nowhere digital. and my long term holdings of  5 years are stored in hardware wallet like ledger nano-s. in this way i protect my crypto assets.

according to my crypto experience the secure way to protect crypto is, setting up a key phrase in hardware wallet. so hacker cant access funds if he gets your wallet.dat file

The hardware wallet is only way which we can protect our-self from hacker so in this way  we all need to protect our coins in hardware wallet  .

That telegram method really gets every time. The notorious scammers are hiding there and always have the chance to lure users you must be very careful on sending your wallet address though secure if you've given your private key then you are done.

I think most of those you are mentioned are helpful, But sometimes not every cryptocurrency users paying attention to these like me i hold some coins but i don't use any hardware wallets and i believe most of users don't use hardware wallets. just keep your private key in safe place i think that was the most important.

i do store my assets online and also i am cautious about the person i will give them access to and also i do look for the link it is legitimate and if not i will try to reload the online wallet to make sure of it

There is big danger that someone will take your crypto assets from you, so we must be careful in protecting them.

 

Here are some of the rules that help us protect them:

1. If you hodl crypto then use hardware wallet or cold wallet - copy the seed and store it on 2 or 3 safe locations - same with cold wallet

2. Don't let your assets stay on exchange too long

3. Always be careful before investing in ICO - research the team and the project

4. Never trust anyone who contacts you on Telegram group and offers you "some great deal"

5. If something seem too good to be true, it is probably scam.

Also add this tip. Dont ever download any stuff that you dont know especially if the thing is came from to a suspicious email. Some of the hackers now uses a malware that very hard to detect.

Well this is a great idea in securing your crypto. And i also suggest for you to always keep your private key. My e wallet is still good and haven’t experienced any negative things at all.
