Does any of you have a hard time accessing your MEW wallet?

Accessing MEW when it was just below version 3 is easy that we can access it with browser now, my 32 bit laptop seem to exert resources yet it can;t even succeed to load its pages. I'm currently updating my firefox to see if its just the updates that made me not see all these to display on my browser.

 

I wanted to import it to metamask but the metamask in firefox is asking word phrase which we don;t have it back in the days. the only we have is the password, privatekey, public key and the json file. the heck is wrong with mew they are making all these too hard,

I previously withdraw the ATLANT tokens I have from the exchange but wanted to send it out again to an exchange but the newer version of MEW is just harder to load in browsers even using the offline sender.

I have a long time since I logged in to my account in myetherwallet, since I linked it to metamask I never returned to it, now I have metamask app in my phone and I am using it only, I suggest you to link it to metamask, and forget about the password

no, the wallet is very easy to access. now  days the wallet security is very high and if you cant access it easily then you can see some videos about it.

I tried using the MEW wallet and found that the wallet did not have as many benefits as the other wallets as i am using, and it was slow. I think this is the problem that you are experiencing. This is why i have moved to the bitpay wallet which has other great features and moves very fast. Perhaps you might want to consider this wallet for use instead of MEW.

I think when we use some online wallet on browser is possible we can encounter some obstacle to access them, because some times the IP Address change automatic....etc but when you use your wallet on your phone is more stable.

There are several ways that you can follow to access your MEW wallet. If you have made a hardcopy backed up for secret phrases of your wallet you can still  recover it on MEW I think. In the case of Metamask browser extension, it supports one browser with one passwords to restore.

Actually there are many issues with the new MEW. They tried to make it more simple and instead they made it garbage. The past version was working great and I don't understand why they wanted to change it. I've been getting errors and stuck parameters on fees, need to logout and loging to wallet again to make an altcoin transfer. In the end I was able to sent the tokens using metamask. The token wasn't locked yet in MEW it didn't allow me to sent having a parameter of -1 on gas limit which usually happens when the ERC20 token is locked. Tried metamask and did sent it with no problems. Also the new MEW is sometimes really slow and takes too much time to open the wallet.

I have a few small tokens in my wallet. and I had no problem logging into it. Security is also very high here. things that belong to privacy like your private key, the seed you need to keep it well. If you have tried not to login, please contact support.

Yes, I had problems accessing the MyEtherWallet wallet and for this reason I refused to use it, in favor of the MetaMask wallet as an extension. If you are using a Firefox browser, try using a different browser because some features don't work on Firefox.

You can update your firefox and install anew Metamask wallet and create a new account on it and import your MEW wallet to metamask with your Private key and it's done, if i really understand what you mean

You need to store your keys in a safe place so as not to lose access to sites. I never lost access to my cryptocurrency wallet.

I have been using the wallet since 4 months. And i haven't found any kinds or error or problems through this. And the wallet is giving the maximum security possible for the users. I transact my money and withdrawal from it with very easy process. So mew is a great wallet that is much valuable about security in the crypto world.

Ahhh! I couldn't noticed that, because I remember about one year ago I was cresting a Wallet in MEW, but recently I've tried to create new wallet within my low performance phone, but its look like doesn't supported to my phone.

blockchain is just for BTC and BCH while MEW is for ERC tokens. just so you know.

I know thats blockchain is just for btc, ETH, bch, steller, but I'm satisfied with it because I'm the big fan of btc and ETH. But I hope blockchain must developed their wallet to contains multiple cryptocurrencies in the future.

At some point i experience that when i put my private key it take me 2 to 3 tries before the mew wallet will granted me and give me access to my wallet. And i think maybe the internet connect is one of the problem that's why it happens because i experienced it just twice.

No friend, i never faced any problem about this wallet. I have installed this MEW wallet extension in my computer and am using it very well without any problem. For problems like this its good to contact the support team for that wallet so that you can secure your funds.

I think there some bug on your browser ,try to remove the extension wallet from your browser and then install it again and i hope the problem will be resolved

Trustwallet is good. I have also tried considering it. 

 

But the solution I have found so far that works better that i don't have to adjust the gas fee so that the transactions will push through is importing the MEW wallet to Metamask. Metamask is convenient to use for just about anything i'd do. Tried it in Uniswap and also to casinos and definitely works best. I don't have to login anymore with MEW.

 

If anyone wants to use metamask, just make sure that when you download Metamask its from the correct website. Just go here https://metamask.io/download.html
