delete button How can I delete my post?

I was reporting my own post and asking them to remove it because I was made a mistake, so I don't know if they already removed it or not, but if they will give me a penalty on this it might be not fair because there is no delete button and I've already reported my own post.

Since I started working in the forum that I did not see the button to delete; and my opinion does not have to delete your engaging if you say something or want to add a picture to modify it by pressing the edit button and justice your topic This way is easy and non-violated for the rules of the forum.

I doubt you get any warnings, but you for some reason accidentally get a warning from that, you can post details into Warning/Appeal thread in here.

 

By reporting it yourself you did yourself a favour, because not reporting it would look bad. Next time it won't hurt to edit that original post to explain yourself before reporting so at least it stays on the record.

This can be seen as one of the limitations of this platform that is a particular post created by the user cannot be deleted by the user itself. only the moderators of this platform can delete posts no one else. So there is no choice your post would be there in the forum unless and until it is deleted by the moderators. If you accidentally create a useless post try to structure it in a good way so that it won't be a useless post.

there is no option to delete the post that you have wrote it , you can edit the post instead of delete it , but there is a time that you have to edit the post before it done . 

and if the post need really to delete you can talk with the admins and I think they will delete it for you .

You can't delete your post. If you have some mistakes then I suggest you to edit the topics or post. For deleting as @rekter already said you should report that Topic or post to moderators and give reasons for deleting.

I think it's because the copyright of the contents we make here in forum is to the Cryptotalk Adminstration. I'm not sure about this but this must be the reason. 

Also,previously some big members deleted all of his topic after getting banned for rules Violation. All of his post were paid and later they got recovered though.so, I think it's another eeason for the option to be available only to moderators.

There is not any option now where you click to delete your topic, because yes there is, so now there is another alternative to do that. One week ago I have already deleted one of my topics, I have clicked the "Report post" and then I have written a message to moderators to delete my topic, minutes after that my topic deleted!

i think that you can't delete any post, but you can modify your post, if you want to delete your post that you have a raison, so if you are modify your post that is good than delete it.

Yes, I also did not find the button to delete my post. I think this feature has been canceled. Perhaps there are people after they receive the reward who delete their post, so this feature has been canceled. @Nicole018 Yes, this is a limitation but this is there for a reason. Many spammers would create spam content and when they saw that their content was receiving negative reputations they would quickly delete it in order to avoid a warning point. So, this made it harder for the moderators to catch spammers and that is why they introduced this step.

It is an option that is not available at the moment in the forum. For me, if you think that you have a reasonable reason to decide that your publication is eliminated, the best option is to communicate it to a moderator, so that they can make the decision based on your basis. The other option is to edit your post and correct what you can to have a new post.

Most of the crypto fourms dosnt Offer a choice to delete the posts, and the same rule aplies here in crypto Talk, how ever if you want to delete it for a reason, then u can always edit it when ever u want to.

I did not delete any of my posts before, but the delete button is not present. You can modify the post if you find that there is something wrong and inappropriate, and I expect that the post will be counted if the amendment is correct

Try not to have to stress over that since, supposing that we see so the forum likewise delete post. If your post get a lot of comments then there is not something to be concerned about. And if your post was futile and didn't get a lot of comments so your post will be delet consequently by the administration.

Well there is no such option available for you unless the Staff enables it at IPBoard's Admin Panel.

 

For now the only solution you have is contact Moderators or Admin and ask him in private message for that post to be removed if they can ofc.

 

The only thing you can do right now considering your post options are just editing it and nothing else.

Exactly @Kenan12. Spammers are selfish and they don't care about the forum or any other member. Their actions spoil the reputation of this forum and this is why they are punished severely by the moderators. The step to not let members delete their posts was initiated to catch such spammers and ban them. So, we can't complain about this.

Now you cannot do this option in order for all posts to be monitored by moderators here! Therefore, you should be very careful while writing your posts here because you will never be able to delete them! But if there is a spelling error here, this is normal, so by pressing the Edit button, you can correct the spelling error without the need to delete the post completely

@guatazoo  There is no way for you to delete your post because moderators have removed the delete option, you can just edit it again to correct the content you have posted. If you have posted twice, I would recommend you to use the report option near the share button of your post and ask the moderators to delete the duplicate post, they will take action and delete a post. Conclusion only way to delete your post is to use report button.

You can't delete your own post, only moderators and admins are allow to do that. I think instead of deleting your post, just edit it and make it more interesting and informative so that you could benefit to it and received payment.

I made the mistake the other day, of double posting in a Topic that I had already posted in. Which is against the Forum rules. I also had the same problem of not being able to delete my post or what I had written.

 

So, what I did was, I deleted what I initially wrote & then wrote in my post - Unable to delete my post, Ive double posted. I dont know what happened in the end. I lost track of it. But if the Admin / Mods came across my double post, at least they would know I had tried to delete my post & I was aware that I was breaking a Forum rule.

This is absolutely correct. There is no option to delete posts in the forum, but you can modify it if you find errors in your post. As for deleting the post, you should contact the moderators and request to delete your post.

Yes dear you are right once I make a mistake in the post but it take some time then I was checking to edit it but it doesn't it so you are right we have to think before submitting so that we will not be regret and I think everyone make a spell mistake and grammatically but it will be better in the passage of time..

until now there is no option to delete your post ,so if you want to delete ,report the post and ask the admin to remove it,
maybe by the time would be this option.
