I am really very shocked by reading your post content.I did not know such kind of telephony scams before.Surely it is very dangerous for us.No friend i do not face such kind of scams, but i think to prevent this scam we need to use more secure platforms like blockchain wallet, cold wallets etc.as they are not connected with phone numbers, also try to avoid unknown people in online

Indeed, this method of fraud by phone does exist so preserving the SIM card during travel has become no less important than preserving the passport or personal ID, through which it is possible to steal personal and financial data and even counterfeit identity.

Phone jackers, as of pickpockets, phone scamming. By transport. Even by communication too, as they use different methods to actually talk to you in person as impersonating a character can reference on identity theft as this scamming acts are so enormous

I heard before about a hack of this type to steal personal data on the phone, but I did not expect that anyone could control the SIM card without your knowledge

Telephony is one of the most popular scams by which individual investors and speculators in the crypto field are defrauded. It includes an attacker who summons the target phone service provider and uses social engineering to access his account. From there, they transfer the victim's phone number to the SIM card they control, then they can control the phone number.
Once the attacker has the phone number in his control, he can begin resetting passwords that rely on two-factor authentication, such as email and crypto-exchange accounts.
Fighting this attack after transferring your phone number is very difficult, especially since everything can happen before you know it happened.

Has any of you been exposed to this kind of fraud?

For my own safety even if I am owning the phone that I am using to trade here, I always make sure that all of my informations are secured and nobody can stole those personal informations I have so what I am doing is I don't save passwords to my gadgets, I am always using incognito tab because after we use that tab no information can be saved to our gadget and that is good to avoid stolen informations like phishing.

These are good procedures, although it is difficult for us to work, but we must be careful to protect our money and our digital currencies. For information, the cyber criminals continue to search for ways to use our need to store our information on the phone in fraud.

The name itself quite suspicious although i never try this application. I never trust any application like this because some scammers tend to use it for them to scam people. So beware always on the application that can manipulate any important parts of your phone specially you sim card.

I have not been subjected to this type of penetration, but I know that it is very dangerous and it may lead to the disclosure of all your accounts and the theft of all your money.

Thanks god I did not face somethings like that

Sim swap attacks are targeting individuals which scammers already know that they are using mobile bank apps or mobile crypto wallets. If you don't use something like that it won't make a point for the hackers to waste their time and try to hack your phone.

I completely agree with you, sometimes I wonder how they manage to do this! This is purely human psychology. And many attempt to do so. After all, as far as I know, very often people are cheated on the phone, and this is so tragic!

As for me, I have not been exposed to this kind of fraud before, and if the fraudsters possess your phone number, they will obtain all your personal information in order to use its to penetrate your accounts on exchange platforms to steal your money, so we must take the highest levels of security.

I never encountered fraud over the phone. Yes, that's right, there are many ways scammers can trick people who are not aware, including by using a cellphone, they can use that cellphone number to hack you, so we have to be careful, they can also use your email and you are not aware of it, for that always change passwords regularly to minimize fraud and hacks.

Phone transport is really risky because it might give us a lot of exposure to hackers and scammers so we should restrict anyone from doing this but crypto currency is not yet legalize on all country.

i think this type of scams require a lot of time and effort to put it and targets must be having a lot of money or the scammers wouldn't put all that effort in but anyways it is better to be careful about this even if we don't have that big amount of currencies , it is also better to add the additional security methods like 2fa and this way the scam method you mentioned should not work again

I was very scared when I read this and I feel that I am very vulnerable now. I didn't know about this that our SIM card can be replaced like that. Are the phone service providers this stupid they give our SIM to anyone and can make this problem to us? This is really annoying me and maybe we have to report this to phone companies to stop behaving like fools and sending to scammers SIM cards.
