Blockchain Asset Registration Will Stop Crime

An environment that implements asset registration on a blockchain will prevent crime from happening. Because all assets can be confirmed publicly through block explorer. 

 

To own assets, people must have tokens as certificates that have been registered legally. 

 

What do you think? Could such implementation prevent crime, and be applied in the future?

Yes ofcourse. But it will happen when adoption will be made at government level. Crypto still not have proper place in the heart of any government. So time will tell what will happen.

Yes, that is on a global scale. However we can use it in a small environment also such car factory, People will not buy a car without its token. That will prevent car thieves from stealing and people who bought it will break the law.

Yes I think there are many options that if they will executed them will stop crime or money laundering, but the first obstacle they need to do is to regularized it then will pass to other step.

I think it would be a cool idea. It reminds me of many sci-fi movies where they can go back in time and replay where they can look at the scene of the crime, you would be able to trace the transfer of items much easier. I'm not sure if it will stop crime but it will make it easier to follow the crime. You need an entity to stop the crime physically or a department who is paid. I think some police are not paid enough to do their job effectively, and that's why in many parts of the world there are crime problems because there is no incentive for the police to fix problems, only to protect themselves.

Property rights are legally regulated. In the case of car burglary, the owner has a token as a certificate of ownership. Whereas the buyer can see the block explorer of the car who owns it and whether the seller has the certificate or not. Blockchain acts as a technology that stores and automates all transactions starting when the car is assembled and continues to protect ownership rights.

Buyers will not buy if there are no tokens as car certificates. Because tokens are needed for anything, for example when opening the car door or starting its engine. The big picture is when the tokens are ordered to pay vehicle tax or pay a ticket, all will be detected, which will cause people don't want to buy stolen goods. Then criminals will think about how to sell stolen goods, while the certificate is on an immutable blockchain. This is an effective way to prevent crime.

Definitely, you will not recognize everyone in person and you can create fake faces. After registration, this should not be and everything is visible in person.

It is very important that blockchain come with such a service, I think blockchain will prevent crime from being implemented by registering property.  And in this way crime activities can be controlled.

Correct, The owner will use one address and all asset will have a connection. Everyone can verify assets and ownership in the explorer.

There is no need to control as everyone can verify the ownership. If this applied people won't buy stolen goods, and it will prevent crime. Unless the criminal is crazy enough to make one. Maybe I miss something?

This is possible, indeed there is already lot of similar that exist.

see for example VeChan + DNVGL they implemented a system to record and track the life cycle of a meat from its farm upto your plate. This makes you sure that the meat you are eating is came from the original farm where the cow is raised. You can verify every process that the meat went trough  by checking it in the explorer.

it also implemented in Mercedes Benz, same concept to track all parts of a car from manufacturing.

It could be implemented, though I don't think all the personal data must be on the blockchain itself. Too much transparency could lead to breach in privacy. It could prevent some by having threat to thieves before conducting such crime, but they could just strip the parts of a car and sell it on different shops to further lose track of it, unless all shops would implement checks on the blockchain.

Of course this is possible. Even very much possible to stop crime. But think of that fact why crypto is invented. Cryptocurrency main feature is the decentralisation where anyone can not have your data. Only you will control yours. If that happens then this reason will be no more. So crypto will become like other currency like the daily.

It is the only way to monitor the crime related about crypto was to register it so they can track the records of every transactions but the essence of blockchain of being anonymous will be gone.

Yes, that is very true. blokchain is a system that cannot be penetrated by anyone. so the security is very well maintained, but unfortunately the government has not received it fully. it might take time for all of that to be fulfilled.

And in my opinion it will not stop criminal activity. Of course will reduce. After all, ordinary money is not anonymous and there is a criminal turnover.

Thats a good one, if people are registered through blockchain, i think it will prevent crime, but many countries are having slow progress in terms of modern technology and also government shoul legalize first the use of blockchain technology.

I think that's a good idea because as we know blockchain have a records called a block and this block have a different cryptography codes. In that word cryptography everything will be secured because the modification of data maybe lessen.

Definitely yes! 

Blockchain is a type of distributed digital ledger containing transaction data that is shared accross a p2p network and continually reconcilled.  Management and authorization is spread across the  network so there is no obvious place for someone to instigate a fraud scheme.

If everyone is confirmed what is yours then it will stop people to have your property without the token. People won't buy yours if you can't provide the token. And that is why it will prevent crime. Do you get it, my friend?

That is what I am talking about. Imagine if we can confirm all maintenance steps and parts that will be used. No more steps will be skipped ever again. That will reduce human error and accidents in the whole transportation industry. Especially in airplane preservation, and production. This is blockchain big pictures, and someone out there needs to pay attention to its advantage.
