I just want to know can we access our wallet through it. If we can't do it then why we do it? Because ownership can't give us the account. Crypto are anonymous.

Very interesting idea. But if you have both a username and password, you can also contact technical support. Probably after a number of correct answers to questions, it will be possible to restore the account.

Thanks for your advice. I had never thought before because I used to think that email id will be enough to claim my ownership if my account got hacked from the hackers. Anyway I got to put my Bitcoin address here on this forum.

It is good idea to make the strong security though I don't think it's necessary in the cryptotalk as it hasn't given information about account recovery instead 2FA will be enough.

Certainly they will need to have access to email, which they don't even know. Also accessing email from different locations require extra protection. Anyway with 2fa there is no need for this. This was something as an extra protection for bitcointalk forum accounts in the past as they had been hacked several times. With 2fa everything is more difficult and if we be careful with phising emails we won't have much problem.

Also I wouldn't recommend showing to everyone how many Bitcoins we own on a forum post. This can be more dangerous from the problem they try to fix.

Solution, we can put the address through the settings on our personal page here in the forum, and we see many people do that, including admin, so this method is completely correct and a way to ensure safety to return to our wallets.

And right now it might seem less important because accounts are not much worthy these days, but in the near future when account would be very important especially accounts with higher ranks people would get hacked for sure, we must be more serious.

I was wondering why bitcointalk users are doing that so it will be a way to verify their forum account and not lose access as bitcointalk had many problems with hacked accounts and leaked passwords. But then I found that some people quit bitcointalk explaining that their signature was compromised and if they got hacked they couldn't prove it. I don't know how a signature can be compromised but it can be some mistake the user did perhaps.

If any account on the cryptotalk forum has already been hacked, it is a fairly good idea to sign up to get your account back. But adding two-factor authentication via SIM card would be great and prevent any hacker from entering our accounts.

This is a very interesting way in which to secure your account and recover it in the case that the account is hacked or lost. I personally have never heard of this but it seems that it can be a good way to verify, as email addresses can easily be hacked. In my opinion though, a sense of security should can even be the authenticator app. I think that will be great for security and perhaps in order to recover accounts such as in the this forum you should instead have some security questions that verify a user, however the questions and answers should be chosen by the user, making them much more unique and secure. Overall though, this is a very interesting method to stake your address.
