This would be a great addition in the forum, that would make it unique to other available forums.

 

Signing a message is definitely a secure way to identify yourself. There should also be a module in Cryptotalk where you could request locking of your account even without logging in with a separate account, a direct message request with your signed message as an attachment to verify your request (since we assume that you lost access to the account).
