Yes , we are growing day by day and also security system of forum is increasing, so if any users try to cheat by multiple accounts from same ip address, it will be traced and blocked/ banned. So never try to make multiple accounts.

Yes multiple account should be ban. Mostly they are the spammers. To build a very good and trusted forum admin should ban multiple accounts. I hope admin will be more concern about this.

I guess paying people is not enough. Making multiple accounts is so bad, but you can't blame people they get really crazy when it comes to money. I would never do something like that, I have a good thing going why mess it up. Hopefully the admins are watching these people, and making sure they don't get more money than the rest of us.

Well its really illegal, admin always check every accounts if its a dummy or not. Your dummy and the original account can be ban because you have a the same IP address.

What if me and my cousin is having an account in crypto and we have the same ip add but we’re not using the same account i mean, we have different account tho does it has a possibility to be banned?

Stable IP address is a requriement on every online service. Allowing all websites to be sure of the connected device is the reliable one. When ip address is not stable, it really causes trouble. Every internet click & action is logged in servers to follow as big brother. You may call this cencorship too. So when you don't have a stable ip address you may be confused to some others illegal actions. In case of several users to a web site from an ISP modem device at the same location , there is nothing you canexpect from the web site to be fair towards multiple accounts.

Yeah, tgey should be banned we wouldnt want one oerson to take advantage of the campaign by cheating. But sometimes a part of your family member or a person who lives with you will have the same ip so if thats the case its better to talk to the mods about it.

Even if you are using different devices but have the same internet service provider, you will still be subject to banning.

In short, 1 account = 1 isp

So you should:

  • Discourage other household members from creating/accessing their cryptotalk accounts, especially if they don't have a separate isp
  • Not let your friends and visitors from accessing their cryptotalk accounts via your isp
  • Beware of logging in your cryptotalk account in other locations with shared isp (internet cafes, wifi stations)
  • Using multiple gadgets on a single isp runs the risk of getting banned too

Check out this thread for a few samples:

My two cents.

YES, more than one account is a banneable offense, because that means you're getting more profits than intended. Do someone check the sticky posts after registering?

Congratulations, a mod will check your account sooner or later for asking that, lol

I agree, in addition to being careful not to break the rules even if you don't want to, it is easier to make an account and keep it as an active and healthy account where you will be using it and making it very active, so you will not risk be accused of having multiple accounts. One is enough.

Of course that creating multiple accounts under the same IP will be considered cheating, as in places you can earn money, you would be earning a lot more than you should...

but if you refer to having multiple accounts in crypto (like one here, another in other forum, another in a bounty hunter web site, etc), that is not a problem

Yes of course, you will be banned for multiple accounts, and some times they will give you a warning points for that, this prohibited, they keep updating their rules because of this and more other illegal stuff.

I think yes because some of my friends did that. Their accounts got banned. No warnings. They said it is because of the same ip address of their different account.

It is reasonable to ban the multiple account mate. Multiple account means fraud here. We have to be more careful in everything, although we don't have multiple account we still can be reported because we write the spam post.

This is done so that more users have the opportunity to earn money by learning about cryptocurrencies and thus discourage scammers.

Also, much more is lost if you don't follow the rules so the incentives are the right ones.

Yes this is possible. If you log on two accounts in one device, administrators would probably know it and might try to ban your account or suspend it for like 6 months or maybe banned forever. So you guys must not create any dual accounts here. Focus on one account so that quality of post won’t be compromised.

I think it is not a good idea to use one account on just one IP because in this way our family member can not join this forum and they will not gain more knowledge about crypto.

Obviously yes. Multiple account that has same ip address are break the rules and i hope all of them get banned permanently, because i'm sure most of them are want to cheat this forum to get more payment.

How about different person under a same roof? Under the same connection and thus having only one (1) same IP even users are different?

This must be clarified by the moderators because there's a possibility that legit, single user accounts could be banned just because he has the same IP to his/her roommate.

Admins should know how to handle this situation because like you said 2 or more people under the same roof using the same wifi can definitely be connected with the same ip, in most cases, just because ip is same is not enough proof to get someone banned in a forum except a particular account using same ip is caught cheating  the system by other means,

but on other note, some people can take advantage of this and operate multiple accounts with the excuse of having a family member using same ip and what have you, so it is kind of a tricky and tough situation.

And I think they should disclose their method on identification of these devices, to remove worries to legitimate single account user.

Also, I would like to know if I would get banned from flying to another country?

My IP would change its geolocation and I don't know if that would cause some problems when I log in.

Multiple account is forbidden in this forum. That's why if you have more than one account and same IP address it will be banned very soon. Admins and moderator is always checking it if you are using same IP address.

You must know basic public IP addressing. What if 2 people, 2 separate devices, sharing the same private network, with IP address assigned by the ISP, I don't think IP address as a basis of multiple accounts is enough.

It is strictly forbidden to have multiple accounts with a single ip.
even if you use VPN sooner or later you will be banned, and you just have to apply your qualities in real life if you are honest the rest.

Yeah, if possible the admins can make an official statement regarding this to keep genuine user's mind at rest, because from all indications it is possible to for more than 1 user to have same ip, will this action alone enough to get a user banned? @epidemia maybe you can clarify this a bit,

And as for your ip changes for traveling to another country that shouldn't be a problem too, my ip also changes as a result of using both personal and office ip.

Using different ip-addresses for one account is not a problem. The main thing is not to use multiple accounts on a single ip address, this is forbidden.

How about different IP address with different location? Such as when I fly to other country?

No problem, fly and enjoy life, your account is safe🙂

We have the ability to recognize multi-accounts in other ways, so that cheaters will always be punished. Ordinary users who do not violate the rules can be calm.
