Suggestion for members to be able to move topic

Admin, thank you so much for one thing I noticed recently, we can not longer delete our topics. It is a good move actually. 

But, I have a suggestion, I have noticed some Russians will create a topic under English section, also some members that are new will create a topic under wrong board. I want to suggest to admin, to let us have the ability to be able to move out topics. 

 

With this, we can easily tell a member that creat le topic under wrong board to move his/her topic to the right board.

It is a really good idea and I support your suggestion 100%. Indeed, I wish that the officials of the forum would look at your proposal positively and it because there are many good topics, but they are in the wrong section in this forum

It is better to leave that to the moderators but we should be careful where to post as it will make it a difficult job if all posts  are in the wrong section. If you think a post belongs to another one you can report it and explain why it belongs to another section.

When they prevent us to delete our topics so the purpose of doing it is that to make us aware and think enough before sharing our topics.. and it's the same when we talk about moving the topic from a section to another! it would be a good idea if you share this suggestion in "what to add" topic so the moderators can see it there but i don't find an logical reason to do that..

Currently admins and mods have the ability to move the topics from a section to another. I don't think members should be allowed to move as it may cause the irrelevant moves of topics as we have seen many spammers. So let's give admins the right for moving topic.

And also it is suggested to post under right section so posting in irrelevant section is also avoiding rules of the forum. 

Talking about newbies you can report the topics to admin to move the topics easily.

We can just ask the mods to move the topics to the appropriate section using the 'report post' button. The mod will check the topic and decide whether to move the topic or not.

 

And I agree with @Ridam about not giving us the option of moving topics. Imagine if we can do so. Members with topics in to Off Topic section will be able to move them elsewhere, and that can create chaos in the forum. And we should be at least sensible enough to know what topic to post where. We are no longer kindergarteners here, and even if a mistake is made, it shouldn't be that too common and frequent.

@BitcryptoHan  its not WRONG my Friend.. If YOU know russian language then you can create topic or post in russian section too.. Same for russian member.. Its their skill that they know both language which help to gain them Knowledge from both section English and Russian.. As far as i know there has no rule Where write you cant post in russian section but its wrote that you cant post English in Russian section.. Hope you understand

This is a good suggestion. If you want to transfer the subject of the request, the moderators can do so if they do not do it on their own, and this helps in organizing the forum better, or to give members the ability to transfer the topic to the appropriate section

That's a good idea let me put something more to make it implacable, we can add option on thread where quote  is available mean add another option like we have new option of rating under the thread. Where members vote the thread to move. We can see categories or simple move option yo collect votes of members. This will help mods and the complications will be less.

This is a good suggestion and the forum can make this as an addition to help members move posts in another forum section if they think they used a wrong one. It is for the forum admin to decide as they may have to think if this can be allowed but I'm supportive.

In fact, I did not notice this development, that we cannot delete our topics and I do not know the significance of that. I prefer to be in complete control of my topic because I may discover that it is redundant or not inaccurate and would like to delete it.

This may be a good idea and reduce a lot of fatigue to moderatoros, but it may not succeed as many topics are transferred to sections that are not paid and the owners may move it again.

That's a great suggestion i hope our admins will take it in consideration and it will be helpful to us in times of errors of creating topics in the wrong section to be able to move it to the right one upon realizing since now we have been withdrawn from the ability to delete our posts.

Instead of creating a whole new topic for this suggestion, it is more proper using the suggestion topic created in the about section -> What to add?.

My view on this: In a public forum like this, some certain ability should only be peculiar to the admins and mods such as this. If it were to be allowed for everyone, believe me, it would become a nuisance.

That is a good suggestion, it can also help when errors or mistakes happen and can be removed. It can help a person redo what he accidently did and correct it.
