Saving on exchanges? This is wrong, if you want to store tether, use safe wallets, hardware walkers are better. Exchanges are often hacked.

Iam also thinking same mate when we have good liquidity then why invest in stable coin like USDT, because invest all our funds and wait for long time to earn profit, in my opinion use this usdt when our assets continuesly price drops then exchange our assets in usdt because we don't loss our coin price, but invest in usdt I don't prefer anyone.

Yes, this is what I meant. There are a lot of currencies in the market that give fantastic profits every day or every period of time and can be used, and they are better than fixed currencies.

There are others, usdc, binance USD and many others.

There are different time horizons.  1-4 months is relatively short term, and I love earning ~10-12% on my USDC before I have to pay taxes.  Ultra short-term, a few hours to days I'm totally OK with USDT.

I'm not planning to put a large percentage of my portfolio in any stablecoin for several years though.

If you like to go for short term investment and try to cut the loss while dump you can go for it but for long term investment sure it's not a good option because it's not fully backed by usd as the company claimed earlier that each tether is backed up by usd. So take this concerns before investing in it.

The other thing is a lot of more complex investment options require USDT (or BTC).  KuCoin Futures for example, are purchased with only BTC or USDT.  Futures and margin are a whole different thing than buy-and-hold, of course.

I think its not profitable to invest in Tether because its a stable coin, meaning its price wont fluctuate much so its not the same with the Bitcoin and other crypto-currency for me its no sense to hold because of its stable price and you wont get any return because it wont change much in value.

As I understand, invest is to spend money to make a profit, if you buy USDT or any stable coin, the profit is only about 0.01-0.1% - too low & you still have to pay transaction fees.
I think buying stable coins like USDT or USDC should only be considered as a part of the investment process, helping you have available assets to catch the new wave or shelter assets when the market is highly volatile.

Investing in usdt is not bad but someone should know their asset will not increase or decrease. But for me, I am a trader and I make use of stable and unstable cryptocurrencies to trade but to even invest (hodl) on cryptocurrencies be it stable or not is not possible.I prefer to just trade.

It has been reliable but that doesn't meen it will be for a long time. I don't think that Tether is being honest and since they are not transparent on their reserves USDT is not equal to 1 USD as far as I'm concerned.

This is the best investing plan in my opinion if its profits percent is good! but i rarely can see a plan like this especially when we talk about stable coins like usd and usdt.. there are many sites and exchanges just putting great plans with high profits percent to promoting and making more people join them! but after joining you will find that these plans aren't work and this is really bad! but if you mean about holding usdt for a long time so i wouldn't say yes.. this is a stable coin but it still like usd and its huge supports.

My concern is pretty much clear there I have just tried to tell, it is not advised for a long term investment purpose as it's price will not be so volatile to expect more benefits from its trade on the cryptocurrency exchange platforms.

USDT is fully pegged to the dollar and it seems to me that there is no way to invest in cryptocurrency. Why buy it? If you can just buy regular dollars. For payouts, this is a good coin, but not for investment.

I don't think it's a good idea! Remember that Tether does not allow an audit, it is obviously suspicious and should not be trusted. If they say they have almost 10 billion, why don't they show us the money and the guarantee? It's that easy. Show us the transactions, flows, data .... etc. Honestly, I find it suspicious.

I think that it is not the best way, where you are able to invest, because usdt it is like stable coin, and better to trade in the pair with usdt, because it is very comfortable, and a lot of humans trading in the pair with usdt, but invest in usdt isn't good idea

l generaIIy do not trade on USDT pairs. Frankly, USDT seems quite shady as it does not allow audit and even when it stated to make reserve account holdings transparent, no such audits have been disclosed yet. USDT itself has stated for a fact that not 100% of Tether is backed by dollars and without the transparent records i am not much eager to trust in it. But still USDT plays an important role to stabilize exchanges and with its market cap, it will still be used by traders.

I think this is not a good idea since the value of usdt remains the same over the time so you won't get profit from this investment. I suggest you invest in coins that have a potential to go high in term of value (such as BTC)

Yes, it is safe to hold usdt, big company stand behind it so that it can not fall, fud is surrounded with all coins so that is normal

over the past year THETER and USD Coin have seen their market capitalisation explode. i think it's a great investiment.
