Giving a bad reputation doesn't mean we hate you!

Most of the new member are learning about the crypto even we old member are learning from the cryptotalk. But you shouldn't demotivate them directly by banning rather then giving them a bad reputation and chance to learn from mistake.

Just give that to those who do spamming and posting not related topics so they will be warn that next time they need to post useful content.

when i see a spam comment or a comment that is copied and pasted from another member i report it to the admins not just give a bad reaction

Of course we are giving bad reputations in order to give lesson to each other to correct the mistakes but not to hate someone, although there are some others who giving bad reputations for getting rid for someone.

Yes you are right dear friend, bad reputation doesn't means hatred but rather a correction to a mistake done on the post which the reaction was given , so if a person got a bad reputation he shouldn't panic instead go he should go through his post and check what's wrong and try to make it right.

Thank you for the enlightenment, I my self personally think it is as a result of hatred but with this I now know the reason why some members receive bad reputation and with that I will also like to advise us to make sure we abide by those rules to avoid receiving bad reputation because it is indicating that you are not good enough.

Yeah given a bad reputation doesn't mean someone hates you, it just mean what you posted is either useless or not related to the topic,so you should make amends that's all.

According to new payment system of crypto talk forum we need to make sure quality of posts other wise administration are wanting dislikes from the community of the crypto talk forum because I read new rules of forums for new payment methods gave us one talk token for one likes.

Here are few ways to avoid bad reputation:

1. Write your own posts (Don't copy)
2. Write a topic when you have something to share (Don't write a topic because other members have write a topic)
3. Write topics for helping others to solve/ teach something.
4. Write a topic at least with three or more sentences so that you can explain well.
5. Write all topics in the right section.
6. Make sure all words are correct (check your topic again before submit)

 

By following this, you will decrease bad reputations in your topics and increase good reputations. You will be proud for your efforts when your topics will have good reputations because good things are hard to find!

You are absolutely right mate.People often gets bad reaction because of their own mistakes.I think everyone should not take it much negatively.They should understand that this bad reaction is given so that they can find their mistakes and solve it immediately and in future he shouldn't do the same mistakes again.That's the main intention of this reaction.

In my opinion, a good reputation should be given to useful topics and a bad reputation for unhelpful topics in order for the person reading the topic on this forum to know whether this topic is good or bad.

All are on point. Getting a bad reputation doesn't mean we don't like you. You're having a bad reputation because you made a mistakes. Accept the bad reputation as a positive. Actually you need to be thankful if someone give you a bad reputation. It means they care for your mistakes and they want you to become better by correcting your mistakes.

One should not be afraid if he/she shared a topic/post that is useful, has quality content and followed the guidelines of the forum, I believe that you will gain positive reaction from it. While getting bad reputation points is normal, it means one thing, something is wrong with the post you made and remember that there is always room for improvement. All of us want to have positive reaction with our posts and that will be our motivation to share good and useful information in this platform.

You're right, if you have received a bad reputation it doesn't mean they hate you, they just don't disagree with what you have said, it's better to make it as motivation and get a good reputation.

You're right about that, there's no wrong reporting someone especially when there's something wrong in their post that's why it doesn't mean we hate you instead we want you to correct what's wrong about your post.
