Well in my point of view.Jumping directly isn't gonna work properly.Because if we see so in directly jumping we couldn't experience a thing.We can't learn from directly jumping.So In my point of view working step by step is much better because in step by step by working we learn and experience much things. Hello mate!.Thats good that you reply on those ropics which are having less replies.But here is the thing.Sometime with replying to a post having less replies will get into hot replies but some time when it didn't get much replies.Then the forum delete that post and your comment also get deleted with that.So your payment of that post also get deleted.

So in these post most of them get deleted.So our comments also get deleted.So all you need to do is to find old topics and comment on that post.
