Well said expert, and you have came up with a nice observation. It's really better you help someone by correcting him than given a bad reputation to the person. If any of your friend make a post that is of no use to you or the entire crytotalk, don't just give him a negative reputation but try by all means and guide him so as to encourage him. We should always observe the post before giving bad reaction. Cause many time people give bad reaction without deserve it. So that is really awful. Cause it's demotivate to create good post. So we should read properly before give bad reaction on a post.

We are all here at this forum doing our best to learn and earn and I believe no member deserves a bad reputation unless he is breaking the rules of this forum... only the spammers and people who disrespect others and people who steal the words of other members  deserve to get warning points....So it is not a random procedure.

When you topic is not good your word and your post. Then automatically people give you negative rating. Make you posts and topics high. It totaly depends on you knowledge.  But some kind of people's give you negative rating in some situations when your post or topics will not satisfy them.

I agree to you friend.Before making a judgment about a post, we have to think of the passion of that creator.  Because everyone is giving their precious time for this Forum. Everyone is adding their valuable knowledge to make this place better.

So I think we have to think before giving bad reputation on someone's topic. If you didn't like his post , then simply you should comment about it. Tell your thoughts about that post. Suggest any correction if there are some. This will improve users knowledge about content creating.

I absolutely believe in this factual contents that 'Correcting a colleague is better than giving him/her a bad reputation.

To be honest I agree with you but actually in the issue of giving bad reputation some people just deserve it because they have to learn from there mistake in other to continue there journey here. Although is good to encourage them to better next time but sometimes we have to make some hard decision if really we all want to progress.

Dear friend, I agree with you, we should pay attention to the content and always keep in mind that not everyone can post 100% accurate. I put the community reputations based on the content, I have never given a negative reputation without any reason. Most of the forum members misused the reputation feature and cheated with this feature in order to make as much money as possible. It is not appropriate to give negative points to someone while his content deserves positive points or giving negative feedback to take revenge Now, moderators have disabled dropping reputation payments to avoid spamming.
