Mining on VPS

Does anyone know how to mine coins by using VPS. I heard some users are mining on VPS and getting good profit. I'm not talking about bitcoin, just talking about some coins which can be mine on PC such as POS algorithms or some othercoins. I dont want to mention that coin which i want to mine. But i just want to know how such coins can be setup for mining on VPS. Someone gave me idea for VPS and i think its very nice idea to make some profit. Devs recommeded please.

If you have any other alternate choice dont hesitate to share. But please don't share mine PI.

It's useless, unless your VPS is at a stage where it has K2 Grid GPUs where you can somewhat make some money off newly released altcoins that are GPU-mineable and/or have a godly CPU (E5 series or similar) which you can use to mine again, newly released CPU-based coins.

Using VPS to mine can be done at an early stage when the difficulty level is low. So if you see a coin that has potential, you can mine it with VPS.

Currently, VPS is widely used for the master node. You can try on Harmony (ONE) token or PIVX.

Yes the coin is at very early stage and software is under development in beta mode. So i would just mine as many as it can currently i have implement 25 Server (i bought red hat enterpice server and make 25 nodes for each 3GB ram and spcify needed hdd) and i have two laptop one of ram is 16 GB and other is 20GB so it means 15 VMware machines are working. But i thing i need 1015 more to win the reward 🙂 . I can't share the coin here because it may goes aginst terms.

i have never heard that vps gives you with graphic card or asics. if you know please let me know. you can earn from vps by setup a masternode.

Someone mentioned it in passing but what you are talking about is Masternode mining. You buy coins and stake them in your wallet, then tie those coins to a VPS and run a masternode.

 

You are then "mining" with your masternode. Earnings can be quite high depending on the success of the coin and the value. Dash is a very good example.

i appreciate your help regarding the mining farm from natural resources but I'm not talking to machine mining. Why to mine with machine while the coin only support just with kraspberry or ram. So i don't think this make sense. I have setup virtual servers and doing mining on it and its in profit already. I need larger number of VPS so that i want to know the though of people which they recommend me and no one get my topic lol. But now i have purchsed Red Hat server and have 100 Nodes with each mining and running perfectly.

I tried to make money with the help of VPS, but for that type of mining you need to buy a huge number of servers in order to pay off at least a little.

in my knowledge vps not provides graphic cards. and if you are thinking to mine with cpu then forget about it. cpu mining is not profitable

Hi friend, you can configure the coins on the cryptonight algorithm, but any hosting will ban your server, since it will load the whole machine too much!

Before deploying any VPS to mining altcoins, be sure to go through the terms & conditions of your service provider, because most of them do not support mining as a result of the huge demand on the resources.  Else the service could be interrupted and refund may not be forth coming.

I don't think so . now a days cpu mining is not profitable. if you use high configuration computer and can cost high electric power than you can make a profit . with out doing it you can do cloud mining.

If you want mining now with VPS. I think you late. Because that is useless.

Because the difficulty for mining every coin is really high, especially for top 50 coins in cryptocurrency. Maybe worth if you mining token, just test it because i never try mining token.

Also for vps cost is really expensive. If you compare it with your mining reward, you will realize you losing your money.

The mining process is more power consumption procedure and more the people work for mining at large scale. The better method of mining is you invest in mining companies and take profit on daily basis. The crypto currency mining procedure work on high power CPU.

Yes, you can do it. Many stakers use VPS to stake and run masternodes. It is much safer than staking on your home PC. Make sure the VPS you take has good latency because with high latency you will most likely lose on so many block rewards.

You must retain that VPS uses the CPU to mine. For that, you have to choose CPU-friendly coins. You can use Amazon VPS for free for one year. But pay attention to your usage.

I am not mining on VPS and I disagree with the choice of mining on VPS, because actually this exploitation gives very little profit and it is not productive, even I find it useless.

I heard many options in the past but nowadays mining on VPS doesn't give you a good earning. Even you can not pay the mounthly rent amount of the VPS with mining. We need to hope for a new oppurtunity for mining on VPS to earn enough.

I think its not that easy because having a VPS is easiest way for mining and I think every miner shuld use it instead of mining at home. Maybe in the near future some coin can make it possible.

To be able to mining through VPS you must have a paid account and not free because that is not available in the mining service and through my experience it is good and some profits can be achieved through mining through VPS

Mining on a VPS may be fine, but it's only for small coins. also with big money like bitcoin certainly VPS is useless. I haven't tried VPS, I see many reviews saying it is no longer suitable.
