Some suggestions to add in this forum

Hi members, I want to give a suggestion to add in this forum, I don't know if you are going to like it, but in my opinion I think they need to add somethings exciting to the ranking system, for example why they don't offer some extra rewards for every level, I think this will increase the competition between the members and they will focus more on cryptotalk, because the admins already said that this system is still under development, so I think it is time to bring some new features.

Yoir opinions are needed here,give what you think or what you expect from them to add

Yes i think admin are talking about this also that to make a ranking system in the forum, like every rank different earnings we will receive. And i think its really cool and awesome.

If this suggestion is approve by the admin this surely improve the forum greatly and It will develop a good future for the loyal members of cryptotalk.

l always agree with your suggestion and its really good idea, because in our forum so many experts and good knowledgable persons available, and they also share good information,  but they can't earn extra income its very bad in this forum one newbie and one legend earn same amount its not good, because newbie try only spam not all newbies but some newbies do, but one legend do great work he always trys to give valuable information so I think this members deserve extra rewards.

This is exactly what came to mind while I read this post. I just created this account for the bounty rewards, and to program an algorithm that would be capable of ranking posts to sort from most to least engaging would be extremely difficult I would imagine...  But I'm no programmer. I don't think basing it off of keywords alone would be a effective way of catorgorizing posts that are worth getting paid for.

 

But hey, that's why there's mods on here to ban or delete posts, right?

 

I think the best way to go about this ranking system is by using common sense rather than spending your next 40 hours trying to script an alg that can effectively do the work that only elbow grease can earn.

 

Here's the truth straight from the horses mouth - you are required to enter a post of a minimum of 100 characters correct? All I have seen in this specific article is people probably copy and pasting the bare minimum character posts from previous crypto discussion forums. I'm not are there's an easy way to go about filtering out the spammers from the people like me and a few others in this article that are genuinely posting engaging material.

 

Honestly... I think the model of payment requiremens should be increased; not by character length, but if the said users post is engaging enough to peak the interest of new users like myself. 

 

Admins and moderators - what do you think of this idea? People need to be talking not only about the cryptotalk campaign this site is running, and the exchange named yobit.net, imo most importantly the crypto the bounty is for.... And then lastly, the state of what cryptocyrrencies have evolved into in the past 5 years. I mean think of back 8 years ago when bitcoin was $100? And there was litecoin that I can't remember was worth but couldn't have been more than a dollar, and now a full blown heavy controlled stock exchange like the NASDAQ, only controlled exponentially tighter by the whales who start up these IPOs. It's pretty fucking crazy if you ask me haha. I can't complain though because day trading making 10% every other day is a blessing. 

 

Anyways sorry for ranting, just wanted my first post to be "up to standards" lol. Some of the posts in this article are just scripted copy paste posts to get paid. I ain't even mad, just saying. These sites are to further the technology of block chain, not to feed beggers 1000 sayoshis per post... I'm outy for now.

This is the admin's topic where he asked the members to suggest anything to this forum, so when you said that I should be instead post that, I can't copy his post, but I poste it with a different way, from one side and to let the members give their suggestions from the other side, without forgetting that there is too many new members maybe they haven't seen the admin's post yet because he is old, but I tried to renew it, that's all, anyway I agree with you, but you didn't give me your suggestion about these rewards??

Maybe they have this idea already. They first observed to forum in a month or two, i know your suggestion is good but they have the power to do whatever they want in this forum.

Case in point honestly people  -  is the shit posts need to stop to motivate anyone to actually stay engaged with this forum talk site. But with the volume of posts per mod/admin.... Not sure how this will get under control and then the bounty crypto price is going to tank and go to altcoin heaven.

Most people will agree with you but we also know more reward meaning more spam post and not active member. For people who really have dedication it will helpful but for people who only need money, that is the right time to cheat. Let's admin think about this but you have really great idea.

I want to have a notification about the deletion of posts. For us to know how many posts are going to do again and tell us what's wrong with our posts if got deleted.

This forum is almost perfectly fine. The forum is now competing with bitcointalk as well which is also very famous crypto forum. I think it does not require any addition

Basically I agree with you bro, there are additional prizes for each level, but if this is implemented then I think many members who only pursue the level do not think about the quality of posts and forums, so maybe now is not the time, until the admin sees the state of the forum clean and plagiarism, off topics , spam and post useless.

I didn't understand a word you say above this statement. The wording is confusing, but maybe that's just me.

 

I already told you, what we need is a better ranking system before even thinking of diversifying the rewards per rank. Because as of the moment, the ranks are only based on post count, which would just make spammers more encouraged to spam even more to achieve these higher ranks and consequently, the rewards.

 

Now, if you're asking me of what reward they should if this would be implemented (which I am against as of this moment because of the reason above), then it's probably higher payment, or higher payment per post but still same maximum amount can be earned (which means fewer post, fewer effort to be made before being paid full for a day).

 

But as I said, and I will repeat again, we need to improve the ranking system first. Post count is an unreliable way of ranking, and reputation too, since anyone could give it, even to those who do not deserve it. Unlike in Bitcointalk where there are merit sources that are judged heavily to assess if they can spot those content really worthy of merits (reputation here) and which are not.
