It can be good present for people, who know about cryptocurrency. If one of them doesn't have any knowledge about that, it will be useless. But in my mind this idea will be popular in the next years, but it is just early for people.

Using crypto currency as a gift is a wonderful idea but I don't think that the receiver can really appreciate it because the receiver can appreciate more the things that is not easy to get with money.

I personally think that the way you should give a gift is on how you wanted to show your love to the person you wanted to give your gift. I don’t know if ever I get to that kind of stage when I will give a crypto as a gift to someone especially if that person doesn’t really know what crypto is. I think it would be better if you would give them a gift that could somewhat recognize them your love towards them that you have shown and put towards your gift.
