The safe online wallet is not controlling your transaction, not monitoring your wallet.  And not holding your private key.

Buy Ledger or Trezor wallet, This is like a usb flashdrive that you can store  your bitcoin like a wallet.

There is no such thing as safe when its online or in the cloud, if you are thinking that it will be stolen the best way for you to do is download a local wallet, but always make backup for it

There is always risk. If the keys only you have less risk. And keep your keys in a safe place. Make a copy and store in different places.

There are already duplicate domains that will hack your data. Most of the people come to the site by searching Google, but this is not a good method as they could fall to those scams.

The site admins also should take care by reporting them to FBI to take down from the internet.

online wallets aren't safe enough better to use hardware wallets but if you can't use a hardware wallet better to use differents wallets in case a wallets got hacked or any problem happens you will not lose all your coins .

I would agree with this but add that it is not secure if you control your keys and someone else also controls your keys (as is the case with most online wallets)!

there are lot of online wallets, it depends on you that which one you choose, some are real and some are fake, before choosing the online wallet, first get reviews from the experts because they know about every wallet.

almost all are safe and all are unsafe because everything can be hacked even the hardware wallets. if you want to secure too much than install hardware wallet and a good antivirus and in install other things in that pc. keep a backup ina usb drive.

Yes, online wallet is safe, as long as you save they key, save the phrase or mnemonic, also made different pasword for every wallet.

When using or selecting a ewallet then be sure it have Google 2FA, SMS 2 FA for sure. And you should not be compromise to keep secret in same laptop where you are making trade, as it can be a big loss for you. In my opinion blockchain is best for all time.

What do you mean? by holding your coins through online crypto wallet? I've been using online wallet and it was coins.ph Ive never encountered problem regarding the securoty of my coins, particularly in my btc. All is well, as long as nobody knows your private key except you.

Wallet that you don't have access to or that doesn't give you an option to export your private key, mnemonic phrase, keystore/Json file isn't a safe especially for storing large assets because the wallet provider can get attacked by hackers making it possible for them to gain access to the users wallet. 

Decentralized wallet and hardware is the best place to store your crypto assets.

You might think that Blockchain or any other Bitcoin wallet no user id and password. But Bitcoin also has user's id password, but it is called a private key, which use to do Satoshi transaction. And no document  aretaken in wallet activation because, many things can be done with the document. Every time I open a new wallet I get a new private key. And Bitcoin wallet is so strong that it is impossible to hack it.

I am having few dollars in wallet not coins, else I could buy an offline wallet for storing my money. An hardware wallet is enough for large funds that could serve better than online wallets as the owners can also scam from our wallets.

Online wallets are secure unless you are not careful and let a backdoor on your computer. Personally, I prefer to keep some funds in my offline wallet. I think it's the safest form.

Nothing is 100% safe in the cryptocurrency world. Maybe only hardware wallets or paper wallets can be secure, but there are some vulnerabilities as well.

i thought you are the one that is seeking for answer but you already answered you own question .  anyway your right . safety also depend on the security of wallet that we use  . ususally popular wallets like blockchain have a better security than compare to non popular ones because they have a large base of users and they dont just want to destroy thier reputation  . 

using random generated id and password is risky because you can forget them later on  . its still better if you can change it later on or sign up using the credentials that you are familiar with  .

They are less safe then a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trazor. But I think it depends which site you want to use? Big online exchanges tend to be pretty safe for holding 🙂

They May be safe or not exactly because some of them are greatly trusted such as blockchain and my etheruim wallet. But also some are not so much safe because they maybe new or not easy for us to use. So offline wallets or hard wallets are the exception they are very good to use now
