  1. lol why skip btc ? btc is the first crypto coin so its normal that every pioneer on this space will always say that they first start with bitcoin and next was probably etherium and so on . many coins are built after these two giants. me myself is late , i think i arrived on the mid of 2017 so first coins would be some altcoins that i got from my first bounty . its name was tracker coin .
  2. merrits like on bitcointalk ? not bad but before merrits . we should see basic additions or basic improvements here in the site because there are still other more important things to see than the merrit . my only suggestion to the forum is to add more moderators and add more sub section or child boards so that we can organize the threads/topics easily in order for the forum to look cleaner and spam free .
  3. dont under estimate the power of mobile especially newer released mobile because they are now verry powerful than a standard mid end computer . high end mobile are expensive than pc because they are pack a punch . they can handle almost everything including mining . also projects like this ( mobile mining ) dont come and go because older projects like electroneum are still alive and kicking . its still on hype . many users are still using it and mining on it . profitability will only depend on the device and on how you operate the device .
  4. i didnt know that checking/asking for smart contract is also a way to detect a scam ico . thanks for that info buddy . team , whitepapers and roadmaps . all of them can still be faked out therfor scammers can still get on thier way . i witness alot of bounty hunters that still got scam no matter what research they do . some already gave up . like me i stop joining iico based proects for a while . i think ill be back once the issue have been sorted out or if the hyped of ico have returned into normal
  5. i thought you are the one that is seeking for answer but you already answered you own question . anyway your right . safety also depend on the security of wallet that we use . ususally popular wallets like blockchain have a better security than compare to non popular ones because they have a large base of users and they dont just want to destroy thier reputation . using random generated id and password is risky because you can forget them later on . its still better if you can change it later on or sign up using the credentials that you are familiar with .
  6. not just closing but the major fear here is hacking . what if they are going to get hacked one day ? still , its okay to store coins on a verry trusted exchange or the ones that are popular right now ( e.g binance , houbi ,kukcoin ,etc ) because these exchanges have a good security and hackers cant penetrate easily . plus they also have money back guarantee or refunds . one example is binance . thats why we shouldnt be afraid . its okay to push risk since crypto investing is already risky .
  7. what ? im confuse on your explanation . you said yobit has a low cost but you also said the price is higher here . you mean to say the fees when buying and selling are low on yobit ? am i right ? to be honest , i didnt try to use yobit exchange so i dont know the fees applied in here but since im using the forum of yobit and i also registered an account on thier exchange so why not ? i think im going to start trading on yobit . .
  8. lol . so your saying that your using different kinds of wallets , many wallets . the two name that you remember is indeed a good kind of wallet . i also use them actually but i stop using them eventually until i found out a better option . that name was coins.ph wallet . its a country specific wallet and its the best local wallet on our country because its optimize with services applicable only on our region . aside from that i also use myetherwallet, com for my altcoins and erc20 tokens .
  9. thats a nice plan mate . we sure have a different plan if ever bull run strikes . in my case , i think what ill do is to sell all my btc's on my wallet ( including on the gambling accounts that i have ) . ill then use the money for renovating our house and then buy some appliances that we currently dont have . after the bull run subsided , thats the only time that i will re invest on btc again . ill then wait and hodl again for the next bull run . that will be a long hodling sesion again i guess .
  10. really ? i didnt know that its possible to ignore a signature here but thanks for that info . on many forums that i visited , you cant ignore the signature of the users but there is an ignore button to be able to fully ignore them ( you wont be seeing thier name and thier posts) . good thing that the forum rules are updated and fix some older issue's . we shall now expect a better environment . god bless and more powers to the team and to us forum user .

    Bitcoin

oh i see . if thats the case then your not wrong .

    Bitcoin

stopped ? no buddy there is no such word as stopped on the price of volatile cryptos such as bitcoin . the stability that you see is only temporary but sooner or later the value can fluctuate again . and what do you mean bitcoin has survived to this day ? just because its price didnt decrease anymore ? well if thats what your expression no problem but your right , seeing the price on a stable condition is okay than seeing it go down , only for us because we are not investors but real investors might be happy when they see prices are going down so that they can buy more coins .
  13. cool . yeah bch is also popular like btc but btc is i think the most popular coin of them all . any service that accept crypto payments are always accept btc though btc have some disadvanatge like slow network and slight expensive fees but this does not appear or can be experienced at all times . when btc value dropped , btc networks are also speedy or not congested and the transaction fees were also reduced dramatically .
  14. moving coins into stable coin makes me think that the value of btc can drop more evenly so its a no no for me . we are worried about the btc value but sometimes we are the ones that are doing the same mistakes which causes for its value to decline . stable coins are indeed useful but we should only use it in moderation and not to the point that it will destroy the repuation of bitcoin . for now , im also worried about the current situation but i decided to hodl my btc continously because i know that this declines are only normal . soon btc value can always recover .
