Bitcoin Using more Energy then many Countries

Recommended Posts

BITCOIN mining equipment needs a very large energy source, so most people who work in the mining field use renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy.

If bitcoin energy consumption is a problem for energy companies, it is necessary to search for an alternative and to use countries that have a desert in order to obtain renewable energies.

Yes I agree with you that Bitcoin mining using a lot of energy, unfortunate like now there are not a lot of miners around the world but if will expand the number of the miners, is possible in the future they will restrict the limit to avoid the overcharge of energy.

i totally don't know what kind of energy use you are actually refering to in your post but i am quite sure that the bitcoin dosnt need any electrical power supply from any country, but may be you are refering to the vibe of the people in the country

An increase in the number of miners and a high rate of mining may lead to wasting a lot of electric energy and therefore there will be an increase in power generation and an increase in environmental pollution in my opinion, the only and best solution is to use environmentally friendly solar panels or impose taxes and pay those taxes to purify the environment

Without electricity phones, laptops and other wallet holder will not work, mining requires electricity, I believe you get the point now that bitcoin completely rely  electricity.

lol 😂, quite funny i must say, i actually never realized that you mean the power to supply phone laptops and other electronical gadgets that vould be used for bitcoin minning or transactions, as this never crossed my mind, lol but anyways thanks for making me understand.

Yes, we know that bitcoin needs a lot of electrical energy, especially the mining process, but this problem can be avoided by using solar panels instead of electricity.

yap that could be a simple alternative to easing how the supply of energy is derived, but i still don't think much energy is spent, for powering our phone or laptops etc, I used in minning, its only the processing power that is required much, from these devices.

hmm, bitcoin consumes a lot of energy when mining, easy to understand because it's worth. China, after the current head of mining, is also stopping its exploitation because of too much waste. I think the practical solution can use natural energy to harness it.

well these most advanced developed nations ofvthe world rely of nuclear power generation so i relly dont see much energy being drown, but actually just like you said using natural source such as solar and wind will be more environmental friendlier.

But excluding dams

This won't cause any calamity to the earth, bitcoin always need electricity for the mining aspect and it won't work efficiently without electricity and it will be a major problem to the bitcoin blockchain

Now Bitcoin is facing another challenge from Climate Change Commission that its using more energy then many countries which is big danger for this earth. Its well established that a Bitcoin is required a huge amount of Electercity used by miners around the world running the hardware necessary for maintain the network and validate the payments. What is your thoughts about this issue.

Men they create this kinds of news because they don't have any thing to say about bitcoin and investors are interested on cryptocurrencies and they invest on bitcoin more than they think so they pay the news papers and bloggers to create news like this.

This is true that a vast amount of electricity is required for mining bitcoins. And in this situation it is also tough to say that say that the work cannot be stopped of mining. But in this crisis if the government legalise the crypto and make an announcement for the miners. Then they will surely stop their  work to save the environment. So i think this should be done to resolve the problem  actually.

You are right friend, bitcoin is using a lot of electricity when mining. But i think there are few bitcoin miners compared to bitcoin traders or other investors. I believe there will be new mining technology in the future that will decrease electric usage because the world is developing everyday in technology.

I don't think this might cause a problem with bitcoin mining because there are many countries that allow bitcoin mining and miners can turn to for activity

Yes I agree with it and it's a real fact that Bitcoin is using too much of energy not of the countries but globally also because the mining of Bitcoins and any other cryptocurrency takes a huge electricity which is seems when the miners use their CPU and GPU activities to mine the cryptocurrencies.

It might not be much of issues now but I believe it will be a problem we will have to deal with when bitcoin is largely adopted and more mining activities takes place and more sophisticated mining equipment are developed and more power is required to use them. We might see strict laws being activated to confine mining of Bitcoin, then PoS coins might get more attention.

You are absolutely right, that mining Bitcoin needs electrical energy in large quantities, and this is necessary for the success of the mining process, but perhaps in the future with the development of crypto, electrical energy may be replaced by solar energy, which is better for the environment.

This is genuine that a huge measure of power is required for mining bitcoins. Furthermore, in this circumstance it is additionally difficult to state that state that the work can't be halted of mining. Be that as it may, in this emergency if the legislature legitimize the crypto and make a declaration for the excavators. At that point they will clearly stop their work to spare the earth. So I figure this ought to be done to determine the issue really.

The calculation comes on time, both due to the bitcoin boom in recent weeks and news like the one that appeared recently: energy consumption in countries has skyrocketed due to bitcoin mining. The country subsidizes the electricity consumption of its citizens, which makes the electricity bill there -as in other countries

If the demand for electricity from mining continues to grow at the current rate, by 2021, mining will consume the world's electricity supply.

The electricity is being used for good purpose in my opinion as Decentralized ecosystem is only possible because of the miners and nodes of the network. And as we know it requires power to run. Instead of blaming Crypto currency and Bitcoin for energy issues companies should work for alternative sources of energy.

And If Bitcoin miners start using Solar energy then it will help for minimising the  the total dependence on hydroelectricity.

Mining bitcoin unquestionably requires power and the amount it requires to mine is a theory. In any case, plainly it requires more power today to mine one bitcoin than a few years back.Mining for the bitcoins are difficult as opposed to the past where a desktop computer were used to mine for them ,and now specialist hardware are used to mine them.In short putting an exact number of electricity is a bit complicated.
