Anything that promises over 10% monthly return is a scam simple as that. Those fake cloud mining sites are the first ones youll notice as they promise 200% ROI and such in a few months which simply makes no sense. Currently it takes near a year to get any ROI of mining equipment back.

Scam can happen anytime, and anyone can scam you even your friends, other than what you have stated, its hard to know what else can they do,as scammers are so smart now, being careful and vigilant, and not trusting too much is just the better way to avoid scams.

Investment scams can come to you via a phone call, email or social media. They may even be an offer from someone you trust or who is introduced to you by someone you know.

There are three main types of investment scams:

The investment offer is completely fake and does not exist.
An investment offer does exist, but the money you give the scammer is not going towards that investment.
The scammer says they represent a well-known investment company - but they are lying.
In all investment scams, the money you 'invest' goes straight into the scammer's bank account and not towards any real investment.

I agree with you. And the information you give is very useful. I think your information will be of use to everyone.

I already made a topic about such things, I will give a general idea, if you want to invest in some site, use this site where you can find if this site is legit or scam, without signing up, just put the name of that site and you will see some reviews from many people who tried that site

Emails containing verification steps. I once captured scammer when I opened the link on isolated browser and it notes there I must pay him 0.01 btc to get the reward which is pretty obvious as why could be a fee for verification?

In addition you can join the bitcoin investment group on Facebook and other social media. There you can discuss and see the testimonials of users of the investment site to find out whether it is a scam or not

Well, I based on reviews and feedbacks and ratings of the certain investment site or what and also testing out in different things to know if it is. And also if they offer is good to be true or if the earning is too much then give a second thought about it maybe it is a scam.

If you want to sport out the scammer so first thing to talk him to that you have very large amount and I want to invest .And how to make good amount of profit with that so he Wil give you big talks that he can double your payment .He don't tell you the way instead he ask that give me you money. This way you can easily pointout the scammer.

Normally every investors should gain the knowledge about such sites or firm before investing in it because there are various scam investments sites which is not useful and create fake investments opportunities and then people joining such scam projects suffers a great loss so don't trust any sites easily for investment.
