According to all the information in the internet, Satoshi Nakamoto was the creator of bitcoin. But, we don't know whether this Satoshi is a one person name or a group of people like some organization. Because there's too little information about bitcoin's creator.

 I believe bitcoin has not been created only by one person. Such a complicated protocol can't be the work of one brain alone. I think bitcoin was created by the efforts of a team of advanced programmers and it took them years to develop it and fix the bugs. Satoshi Nakamoto could be the name of a person or a group of people. It may not even be Japanese. Any person from any country can choose Japanese names. I still believe bitcoin had more than one creator.

Wright is obviously not Satoshi. Satoshi never wanted to be known and took extreme measures in order to be hidden. He left when his creation was complete and obviously he wasn't going to come back and announce his real identity to the world, without even having the proof of this. It is either sign a message with the private keys from the original Satoshi wallets or try shady techniques that prove nothing. This is what CW did so far and noone actually believes him.
