Sadly, youtube videos are not a reliable source of cryptocurrency news. They will say anything in a video to make money and attract viewers. Most of the youtubers are after referrals anyway. Unfortunately, Litecoin does not have the potential to reach anywhere near $1000. Such speculation is extremely farfetched and you can confirm it easily if you see its current statistics.

I do not think it is too easy for Litecoin to reach $1000 mark in this year but I can never reject the possibility. In general,Litecoin's price has been appeared to grow up against the price of crypto coin BTC. I am still waiting BTC price to raise which may also affect the price of LTC too.

Its a very big target you are talking about. I do not think LTC will go that far. LTC lose many of its whale investors and there are other project that is taking its place in the market with a better potential growth.

Litecoin is currently reading $43 in cryptocurrency marketplace and despite it high potential in the market I don't think it can reach $1000 this year due to one reason or the other and the highest I think litecoin can reach this 2020 is $80-$100 that is if the prediction of bitcoin price went the way we are expecting.

Litecoin would really need some crazy hype to drive the price 2000% up from current.

I think most people find it boring, as you don't see revolutionary tech, but a coin that just works so well. But people won't be hyped for that.

 

Litecoin's biggest asset imo is Charlie Lee. One of the people in crypto I respect the most.

People will always fud around that he sold his stack and drove the price down. Those people have done little to no research.

LTC is one of my favorite coin and I think it has capability to achieve this price range of $1k but this not going to be easy for this iconic coin as we know that ltc is struggling from the last couple of years and its developers don't take much interest to protect its reputation and it can be the main reason of the slow growth of ltc.

I don't feel like it should cost so high. 1000$ for LTC looks not legit right now. Why should people buy LTC so much? There is no normal reasons to reach 1000$ per 1 LTC. It's not 2017-2018 years, so cryptocurrency will save such flat moves like right now. The market looks quite boring right now. The good news just as little.

LTC is one of the coins that I really like, low fees, fast transfers, but unfortunately it's far from really reaching that price. In most cases the marketing presents a picture of things quite far from reality, I think this is one of those cases. It is true that the LTC was already worth several hundred in its time, but in my opinion it will take a while for that to happen again. 😴
