How to explain Bitcoin to those who do not know it ?

It is a complicated thing in most cases and the reactions are very different, in some societies ideas are accepted very openly, and in some others you feel that you are explaining your ideas to one of the doors of the house and the topic may be embarrassing for you.

I will offer some ideas that can facilitate the way you explain the digital currency project to them
 

• The digital currency is intangible ... but it can be converted into tangible money (metal money - paper money)
• Bitcoin is like fiat currencies or coins .. But the difference is that Bitcoin is stored through electronic devices or wallets
• With regular money, you always know who you are with. But with cryptocurrencies you do not need to know who the person is, you just need to connect to his wallet address
• With regular money, you have to pay high fees when sending money because the money has to move from one bank to another and those banks charge fees. With crypto money, you don't need to pay exorbitant fees because the money goes directly to the other person's electronic wallet
• In order to withdraw and deposit regular money, you need banks ... But using digital currencies, your bank is on your mobile phone or on your PC.
• With digital currencies, you can do without work! Because the digital currency project provides you with many ways to make you self-sufficient and do not need work! (By investing - mining - trading - gambling)
• Through digital currencies, we can buy many things (video games - books - clothes ... etc.)

Explaining it isn't easy as it sounds for people who don't even know about this crypto world and how it works! this topics would be useful and informative for all the members especially for the beginners.. 

But we should clear something , i want to spot about a point! what is the money ? if there is many person accept that the value of anything is about x$ so can we consider it as money or not!? from here we can explain what is bitcoin and it would be easy to understand for everyone in my opinion..

These details I think that you followed up can be the description not only for the Bitcoin currency. 

But no doubt, I believe that Bitcoin is the most secure currency n the world because of its Blockchain security technique. And about something you mentioned that in cryptocurrency world we do not know the people we are dealing with, that is why we should be careful enough form scammers and fake people whom might be hackers and might steel our money. So anyone who is new in this field, what ever the currency he/she is going to use, he/she must read as much as enough to know how much safety the site they are working with.

I would prefer the digital money than the regular money because in this modern time we all have the mobile phones and PC. In the pathetic condition of corona some countries use the digital currency because of saving them from touching one another.

I would love to go the the deep of the same because the truth is the more you do so then you are able to understand what exactly is this but the truth is we need to really define something that is far much important and that is to make sure that you are able to follow what is the reason it was created and most  people did not understand the actions and the power of central systems of monetary government's and so bitcoin was trying to break the walls and give us the freedom to that

And we also have to warn them as kindly from the scammers, because every newbie here is at risk of being stolen by these scammers!

Good way. The other easiest way to explain bitcoin to those who don't know is to teach them practically. Show them on your computer or mobile how bitcoin works, and give them the full info slowly. By doing that i hope they will understand day by day.

The best way to explain Bitcoin to me is through a historical account of the history of money since its inception. This must be done in order to understand how money has evolved over time and that cryptocurrencies, in particular Bitcoin, is a result of that evolution. To give a better understanding, it is very useful to show audiovisual material that supports everything that we are exhibiting.

Scammers are everywhere but they are really focusing on this crypto world and waiting for beginners' mistakes to steal their money easily.. the blockchain technology is secured well but the problem is that there are many of people don't even know how to secure their accounts! and here most of people lose their money because of their ignorance not because of blockchain technology is weak!!

well done for taking your time on how to explain it to grand parents but after the retirement of grand parent they have alot of money on bank , yes it can be moderate through phone too but they are getting guaranteed amount of interest through it , and teaching them to trade the crypto currency is different job , yes we can explain them what is crypto currency but making them used to with it is hard job

This is a good explanation that you have provided here on bitcoin. I think that most of the points that you have here will be quite easy to understand for those that already understand financial sectors and stuff like that. To be honest, convincing and explaining bitcoin to those that are not technologically apt is a very hard task. For me, I try to explain it as a way to carry money on your phone without having to carry an actual wallet. Once people are grabbed by that point then i go into the actual being of what bitcoin is. This is a very good post though and well explained for all new bitcoin enthusiasts.

 Every time whenever i wanted to explain about bitcoin to my friend and family they thought bitcoin is the part of gambling as the btc price dump and pump hugely..  I dont know exactly how much your Information will work to explain the people..  But i think it will be better if we give them the prove of btc payment system which can give us real money then they might understand the value of btc.. Thats not an easy task but i start through barter system to now mean first i explain the growing process or stages of money we actually says its evolution of money. Then i tell the histroy of btc, its growing, its advantages or securities or many more. I convinced that person by selling or buying a thing through digital world. May be he understand but he take some time for that.

Convincing and explaining to other people is really difficult at times no matter what is your subject / topic which also applies to the existence of cryptocurrencies specifically Bitcoin. Albeit, I believe that it really depends on your audience or to whom you are talking to. I suggest that we should really start to basic up to the most crucial part of Bitcoin specifically from the very start up to the current state of the currency.

I think Bitcoin is not explained to a specific category!
Because everyone should know this thing!
The bitcoin issue these days does not only concern traders or investors! It has become a public opinion issue!
So I think we should explain Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency project because at the end of the day they will thank us about it!

I have tried to start from this starting point to tell someone about bitcoin and it has really successed even he wasn't know anything about it! also understanding how blockchain technology works is really important even for the beginners in order to believe in this crypto project.. it isn't easy as it sounds to make someone believe in this new crypto project because most of people used to use fiat money in their daily actions especially these old people..
