How to make old people understand Bitcoin?

I don't think the elderly are the only ones who find it difficult to understand cryptocurrencies, but there is a large segment of people who do not follow technological developments closely.

Its really difficult to really hard to sell the idea about this new technology , there is a lot of work to be done and in the end we are all going to work to be really good in what we are doing there is a lot of work to be done and in the end we are all said to follow a certain idea we see out there.

I think that you should try to teach them about this way: that this bitcoin thing and other alt coins are just virtual money, that is volatile and that bitcoin is the most popular and pretty stable in the last year too.

 

Try keeping it simple with them, after that just go into blockchain and all the other stuff, but they need to understand that this is virtual money first.

I think that at the moment it doesn't not put a problem especially for the elderly as long as the cryptocurrency is not used officially in a large way ... but with the importance that crypto gains it could become a real difficulty for these people.
In my opinion for the elderly to be able to integrate in this field it is necessary first
1) that they have the will to want to understand such a thing
2) they absolutely need close assistance ... otherwise and always in my opinion, it will be tiring or even boring for them to dig into the net and try to understand

@Vousy For sure it's really hard, maybe you have to teach them very slowly and practically. Just like how you teach a child, teach them few minutes a day (even in 30 minutes) and use another 30 minutes "later" to teach them practically. If you will do that in 20 days, I am sure you'll see changes!

I think any change you will always face a certain resistance whether from the people and whether from a certain age group its easy you face this kind of resistance but the truth is we need to work as hard and put together everything in the right processes that we see there is nothing to big to really keep everything progressed or professed and we are all suppose to really be sure to work as hard

Simply say them that bitcoin is same as gold coins. And both have same value in market. But if you buy bitcoin then you will get more profit instead of gold coins. You can also trade from your bitcoin.

I think explaining blockchain theory is boring and complex for them, and It's really hard to explain this to people who don't have related degree or experience about it. but using crypto tools like wallets is possible and I think for old people you need to focus on tools , not to theories and proves!

You cannot make them understand directly. There are some logic steps if it's really needed to make them understand.

• First of all, if they use credit, you should make them understand that it is a number, like the credit on your balance. Just a number. You never see the real money, the only thing you need to know it's the conversion from that number of BTC to his/her natural currency.
• If it's not enough, you should try to explain where the value comes from. It's going to sound really "Sci-Fi" to them, but well... if there is luck and they understand that is computational effort spending power, equipment and energy (and speculation and investment...)
• The hardest part is to explain how to store the money. Still I suggest to talk about credit cards balances in "online accounts". The hardware wallets..  well.. that money is like phone apps 😄 for instance... 

Be creative and patient. Sometimes it's not even necessary due cryptocurrency will coexist with fiat currencies for long. Only when the society is totally prepared for BTC, it will turn into the real standard, for now it's more an investment value, value vault and trade asset than a currency for paying the bills or shopping.

In order to make them understand you need to teach them some basic  things too as what is the internet, computer, Google,  download, cryptocurrency,  digital files and money earning. Then they will be able to understand the thing yiu want them to know.

There is no specific way to do this, but I advise you to start with them by introducing them to the simple basics of cryptocurrencies, how they work, and the benefits that they can get if they use these currencies in their daily lives, and so they will love those currencies and depend on them over time.

Actually nothing is impossible in the world of difficult. And I also agree with your opinion that its very difficult to understand about the Bitcoin work. But I advice you to satrt with them with the simple basics of the crypto currencies,in which way they work and from them how to get earning. I think you are right mate because in our days it's hard for people to believe things without proof so it's a good idea showing them what you really earn when you cash out in your local currency while teaching them the advantages of cryptocurrence...

Even me here some guys they now also want to learn more about crypto after seeing me how I make money in crypto boom within shot time😜...when you have faith everything moves smoothly but for those who are still waiting for a testimony they will always be behind until they realize the importance of faith in life.

Bitcoin is a digital currency. Its known as a crypto currency. It comes in the market in 2009.all the transaction is happen in the digital wallet.I think old people couldn’t maintain   this digital wallet. For this i don't preferred bitcoin to old people

At first I suggest you should let them understand about Centralised and Decentralized ecosystem. And introduce Blockchain to them and you can introduce Bitcoin. 

For giving them guide for Crypto transaction you can introduce custodial wallet like Blockchain as the interface is similar to other Digital wallets and quite easier too.
