The short answer is yes. Since it is the continuous process, you will most certainly overheat your computer which can eventually cause the irreversible hardware or the processors damage. There is no point in mining bitcoin with your own PC.

Actually that depends every computer component have unique working resource and if you mine and what you mine sell more expensive than parts of computer that means you are winning and thats not bad

of causre you need powerfull computer but don't forget that mining uses lots of resources and your powerfull computer will turn into wasted computer very soon, so you nee dto upgrade hardwares.

i have used NiceHash in the past year to make some side crypto..

ended up needing to switch graphics card because of overheat

so if you have a good water cooling system its not suppose to be a problem

GPU prices went insanely high in the last 2 years due to 

alot of bitcoin miners who buy alot of GPU 

so yeah you can make some money overtime

I think Mining for the computer is very bad.  It can damage our computer and digging can overheat our device.  So you should check the temperature and maintain it as well.  Otherwise, many problems will arise.
  So mining is never acceptable

Yes bro quick mine is not harmful but as our computers aren't designed for mining if we do gpu mining there whole day and night the power of gpu will be down and surely it would affect the performance of computer.

Mining basically makes your hardware and especially your GPU work at 100% capacity at all time, which is not how the GPUs are designed to work so it will heavily shorten the lifetime of your hardware, which is way a dedicated miner is advised

I am mining Altcoins since 2 years with 2 CPU and without problems. 90% of people who participate in this topic are not cryptoccurencies miners.... Almost all desktop computers have their CPU equiped with a fan (ventirad)  so the CPU can't overheat.

 

Mining Bitcoin is impossible with CPU and GPU because it use Scrypt algorithm. Browser mining software like cryptoTab are not mining BTC even if they pay users with BTC. They often produce Monero (XLM) that use the CPU friendly RandomX algorithm.,

Not at all because when you mine in cloud mining then this not bad for your computer but if you mine like bitcoin machine mines bitcoin then this is very bad for your computer because it consume more electricity and it requires a high customised device

Bitcoin mining on a computer is not worth it at all, since it is not profitable and of course it is pointless to use hardware because of this.
