Thanks for the information as we need to be updated with how hackers work, although from what I have learned the Lazarus Group is a notorious North Korean hacking group that targets big exchanges and not simple users and holders of a few hundred of dollars crypto. We need to be careful nontheless.

The malware isn't limited to windows and android but expanded to masos which is very worrisome for mac users they have to take extra measures for security. This will compromise their information and data. This is for MAC computers only so it won't affect us windows users but we should be careful nonetheless. It is also a boot process malware that is very difficult to remove and hidden from the user. Quality malware from Lazarus group, so be careful MAC users what you download.

The Lazarus group is notorious hackers from North Korea and this malware if found it probably means they can empty all wallets connected on this computer. It is very advanced team and was mostly focused in attacks on South Korean big exchanges.

So probably this is masked as some real application and when downloaded or installed it permanently stores malware in mac computers that users do not see. But what it does then? It steals private keys or gives access of the computer to the attacker?

 This malware is masquarading as a trading application. It can't be scaned by antivirus because of its unique approach running on boot and offers fake arbitrage opportunities between big exchanges but I don't know if it ever worked for them as they planned.
