Security researchers have discovered a new
cryptocurrency -related macOS malware believed to be the product of North Korean hackers at the Lazarus Group.
As tech-focused publication Bleeping Computer
reported on Dec. 4, malware researcher Dinesh Devadoss encountered a malicious software on a website called “unioncrypto.vip,” that advertised a “smart cryptocurrency arbitrage trading platform.” The website did not cite any download links, but hosted a malware package under the name “UnionCryptoTrader.”

We should be cautious we MacBook clients. Would you be able to give us more data about this malware? I think it is an infection that will contaminate somebody's PC that visits the site. What's more, is this malware like an application for sure?? It would be ideal if you give me the appropriate responses in any event to secure myself and offer it with different individuals outside of here.

As what's I know the apple operating systems are too hard to be used with malware applications and sites. So how could this malware be used in mac OS?

To the macbook user, this is important to you guys to prevent and avoid this kind of hacking, is this site is just for the macOS ousers only? How about the windows user? It may be affectied in that malware? Answer this question for the security of the windows user.

but hope you can provide more details about the "discoverd cryto-related macOS malware" and how these really work, is it macOS only or include windows?

Apparently there is dangerous Malware. I just found this out. the site they provide does not contain a safe limit. they deliberately include various viruses.

They are really powerful malware, but they can be avoided and we stay safe, by staying away from the random use of websites and programs without making sure that they are clean from viruses.

Your password must be very strong in crypto. If your password is normal, a red mark will appear next to the password and the level will be less.

please be careful of the sites that they are available because it does not contain a safe limit and they deliberately include various viruses and this leads to fake exchange sites.

It can be prevented by keep updating the OS of your device and also have an updated anti-virus softwares. Also be cautious everytime to protect your crypto.

This is new to me, a malware in MacOS because as I know many users in my country also used Windows. Is this malware can affect other OS especially the Windows? Is there any cases or theory to how to remove this malware?

You need to pinpoint these actions and not go about the malicious programs of violators, and those who created this spyware should be responsible for their actions.

Well, this must be a problem to a Mac users and thanks to that user of Mac will be alert to this kind of malware, malware sucks if your device gets infected it would a big problem, above it didn't discuss what it could do to the infected device, but for sure it will cause damage to the system of the device or get information that could be used for bad intentions, anyways Mac users must stay alert and careful to their browsing to prevent problems to be happened.

specifically what the malware can do? This is a little confused and I think you need to add the source of the news. I just heard of the malware, especially this is related to Mac OS.

Thank you, this has been very helpful perhaps this malware is going to corrupt one's information for the hackers use. Suggesting that people should just avoid these sites or anything similar to that address.

I think this malware only attacks Mac Os users and is not dangerous for windows users. But it's better to always be careful and increase the security of the device we use.

I am not clear about your information. if the malware for windows or for Linux.  I know that there are many new scammer who are much skilled about their work so all should be aware.

This is a really useful information because many of crypto users are not aware with this news and I am one of them. People shouldn't worry about this if they are really careful about their transactions or activities and also if they make their phone or computer secured.
