Price difference between exchanges

Recommended Posts

Could you share your trading experience? It is possible that the price of cryptocurrency on different exchanges is different. Buy on one and sell on the other. Is that possible ? Has anyone traded this way ? If Yes, then share your experience. I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

The price difference between exchanges often occurs and this is very beneficial for us because we can buy the cheapest and then arbitrate to an exchange where the price has risen first. But first you have to check the wallet whether their deposit and withdrawal is open or not

I didn't do this type of trading. mainly if you want to buy from one exchange and sell it to another exchange then you need to deposit and withdraw all time that's the profit will not be much.

It is also a way to make money but it is very time-consuming because the time of liquidity of each floor is different, not to mention you encounter good floors, you will have trouble with capital backlog.

There are so many exchanges in the crypto market and almost all exchanges price is different and they have different fee to send the coins from one exchange to another exchange or to sell the coins in the exchange and also buying price of the coins so all the fee is depend on the exchanges.

This method is called arbitrage, previously it was profitable but now it has become dangerous and unprofitable. The platforms are closing the portfolios now and there is a high possibility of losing your money so I do not recommend it to anyone.

The difference in price between exchanges is what makes them to compete with each other to be chosen by users. If all exchanges had the same exchange rates, then users would only choose the oldest and the most well-established exchanges. The difference between exchange rates have also led to a special kind of trading which is called arbitrage trading. This type of trading requires you to buy from one exchange and sell at another exchange with higher price to gain profit. I don't recommend it because it is the riskiest method of trading and requires a fair amount of investment to surpass transaction fees. The amount of profit you gain from this method is not worth the risk you take. Since prices will change fast, you can easily lose money if a price fall happens during your exchange.

Yes, because the demand and supply in each country is different, that's why Bitcoun and Crypto are because of crypticurrency idenpendent. The courses agreed by Google and other Bitcoin price providers are estimates of the average price of Bitcoin from transfers (trading) that occur on international Bitcoin exchanges.

A lot of people intend to make money from the price difference between the exchanges, but I recommend being careful, because in fact the price on the floor, they also know why it is deliberately so, so be careful.

Difference in price at different exchanges are like the promotional things because some exchange platforms give good money on exchange to attract customers towards them and also doing referral programs but they keep their profits in it.

Very true. The main reason for price differences is the volume and liquidity, as far as exchanges go. When there are not many sells close to the real current value, people may keep placing higher and higher buys and they still don't get matched. This is a trick for arbitrage, because someone may plan to take advantage of selling at higher price for profit and find they can't clear the position. Very, very common issue.

i see a lot of people in crypto complain about having so many exchanges in the market now and how that divide the volume between exchanges but i think we need to have more exchanges so the competition can be hard and we get better deals and fees.

price of every token and con are the same on different exchange,  maybe sometimes price not correct because of price manipulation of exchanger

Not every exchange is having same price because in some exchanges you see the price is different and this is good for us because so many peoples will send the coins from one exchange to another exchange and then sell it means send coin from low value exchange to send the high value exchange and get profit.

That's true and if you want to trade, you'll find the withdrawal fee is higher than the rest, but choose reputable exchanges that are the best way, high prices but reputable.

If all exchanges will offers what's poloniex exchange offers to trade with 0% trading fees and 10000 satoshis withdraw fees that's will be very good thing

If you are always in the marketplace you will find out the market price of the coins and to gain profit you must be aware what is happening in exchange.

It is called arbitrage.

But it's hard to find such a coin/s because that is clean profit.

And of course you must to count on few things like fees or how strong are walls (price on which you want to sell) to not happened that you buy coin and when you deposit on other exchange that wall gone (price where you can sell with profit) etc. Before that maybe was easy to make profit but now is difficult for sure.

Truly you are correct the distinction of cost between two trades is seen in numerous coins. But this distinction is only a little bit.Not an immense one which can permit clients to purchase from lower esteem and sell on higher value.so it is only a slight contrast between trade price.Like we have seen ENERGI coin cost is high on digifinex and cost is low in Kucoin .so it is alright to see the value distinction between trade.

Traders have their respective bids so it's not an exchange that offers prices. This happens because of differences in strategy and large trading volumes. The price difference might not be too far but some traders take advantage of this situation.

it is possible, that technique is called Arbitration. it utilizes different prices on the two exchanges. however, it is very difficult to do, moreover, you need to be fast. so, if the withdrawal transaction is long, it could be risky.

Yes that is possible. I think all exchanges have their price in every coin. For example Bitcoin price now $9,000 in Binance. When we look on Poloniex the price is $9,050. If you have fast thinking, you can just withdraw Bitcoin from Binance to Poloniex then sell it to USD. That is we named as arbitrage. But you must very fast in calculation, like on fees and confirmation time in every coin.

Though many exchange out there are scammers and not trustworthy, they cheat on their customers and don't use exact price of coins in the market.

I have not done this still but there is different price of coins on different exchanges. I have seen that ltc price is 0.00765 btc on yobit which is 0.00762 btc on binance. Although it is low difference but if you have huge amount then you could trade between exchanges.

The reason for this difference is that there is a difference in the amount of liquidity between the platforms, so the prices are high in the platforms with high liquidity
