Wow, How they do that? how can bot copy/paste the comments of members?, I don't think it is a bot.. maybe just a person who wants to burst posting by copy/pasting the comments in order to earn more satoshis.. Well this is alarming we should report them in order to clean this forum.

We should be observant for these matter. Because it is a way of cheating not only for us but for the admin of this forum we should help each other to clean this forum so that we can have a healthy environment of sharing information, thoughts and ideas. And not a bot to copy and to spam on the topics we are talking about. Please I encourage every one if they know the bot. Or if the developer of the bot can read this please stop it because it won't make you rich. It will just make the value of our coins lower. Because by that the investors will be scared to invest on crypto market. Because of the cheaters.

Maybe they also have some software or something from which they could post the same previous comment with slightly different words in the sentence.

Interesting,. did you report them already? so that Mods will investigate it, if they are really use some kind of a software. This bot should be ban..

I noticed copy/pasters of my own posts for the first time a few days ago. Seconds ago I reported another one who copy/pasted part of a legit member and combined it with my post. It is unclear to me which are bots and which are not, but it's annoying

actually this is happening for the greedyness of some worse people. just report on these bots when you saw this type of copy pastes. we are also doing the same.

Yes, you are right. It's our duty and responsibility to prevent it. If everyone aware and report such activities then it will be fine.

i didnt noticed that but i think this normally spammers are every where and  every person here in the forum trying to catch them ( not spammers there self xd ) so  just report copy past posts

I already caught a couple of these and made a report on this thread:

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/4748-report-plagiarism-copypaste/

and who knows if there are a lot more out there. The obvious copy/paste are easy to spot, but those who edit the posts they copied are harder to detect.

If you catch a copy/paster, feel free to report them. Let's help clean the forum by getting rid of these greedy pigs.

I think there's an misunderstanding, he said bot which mean a computer operated accounts that automatically copy and paste comments, what you're referring is spammers therefore it is a person. Simple bots are made by human but can automatically operate itself base on it's program and it differs in a person committing spam. I just explain the difference between the two i hope you don't be offended.

oh shit , so bots come into here too ? but why !

i think people who made bots to past here are very stupid and they only want to corrept the forum becuase its impossible for them to get paid to there posts .

If you discover any both making posts share an example of such bot or report them to the admins of the forum for them to take appropriate measures.

Yeah I have noticed that too but I never thought they are bots, I was thinking some users who don't know how to spam in the right way😁 because such copy past i have seen are mostly done immediately after the copied post or few post after, it is really pathetic, we have deal with reporting bots as well 😏

That and some hilarious google translate fails. I saw one saying something about genital herpes treatment (lol yeah), I wonder if the person behind these kind of posts care a single bit about the content they're writing here. It is a must to report these posts, but sometimes I don't know if it's a bot's work or just a sad google fail with poor english skills.

Its really becoming hard to read all those synonyms with poor english. Don't know what they are using to copy paste.

Google translate, but they're failing hard using it. Or maybe another online too that is not as neat as google

If you find it the post, you should report it the post with the original post/link.

Bot posting not only on cryptotalk, also at bitcointalk somone used a bot to posting "PoA" for bounty/aidrop or make a fake conversation with their own altaccount to bump project thread.

does the robot that makes the fake post exist? I don't know about this and I'm also not sure I can make a robot program to make fake posts, it's very difficult to do.
I will follow this topic to get more information about this ...

It is better if you find bots making copy and paste comments,  be copied the two URL or be screenshots or you can create  a special post. "This is the Coffee Paste Comment", which can be edited at any time, or added if you find a new coffee paste comment.

Yep, I saw also before with an interval of about 5 minutes there is always the same post in every thread, I also found some off-topic or copy paste on several threads. Well, maybe the admin team can add a capctha to deal with this and we can at least report if we find something like that.

Yes, I also saw this written in a stupid and incomprehensible post, and under that post a bunch of a bunch of bots! And they all write the same thing, the benefit of their ban and the posts are removed. But still, it's not cool!

Even Microsoft Office tools like MS Word can do the job of replacing words with synonyms.

Want a sample? I'll copy the post above me like so:

Didn't noticed it yet. Are you sure that it is a some kind of BOTS? If so, can you please provide this thread with screenshots and proof? That will be highly appreciated.

Look for my report as an example. There are also similar reports like mine already. Dunno if it's done manually or via bot, but comments like these should be reported, bot or not.

In discussion forum, of course it is natural to see replies that are quite the same but different, it is inevitable in large forum. But if for posts on the same specific topic, Cryptotalk has provided a feature where we can check whether the topic we are posting already exists or not

Lol, I see, I thought it was quicker for people to use google translate for getting synonyms. Unless their speed connection is worse than mine...
