This site contains a lot of useful statistics, and I didn't even expect there is more than half a milion addresses with 1-10 Bitcoins. This website is really original and different from other BTC statistics I know.

I took a look again today, and it seems that the cold wallet has been reduced by a significant amount since July last year. I've also read same reports on Bitfinex, although I think it was about their hot wallet. Comparing both of these results with the whale accumulation happening since the last dip, I am thinking we might see interesting positive action a few weeks after the halvening.

This amount is very huge, but it is not strange to find this amount in the Binance portfolio, because it is one of the most popular trading platforms, and therefore it is very natural. I believe that the money on the platform in bitcoin is different from the amount of money generated by other alternative currencies.

They actually shop their BTC of their bloodless wallet to make the deposit secure from the scammers. warm wallets are not secured as they canbe hacked any time. I do not suppose this world's maximum reputed exchange maintain their BTC within the maintain wallet to permit scammers to scouse borrow.

I think binance currently has the largest amount of bitcoin and has a large percentage of bitcoin in its cold portfolio

It's  a great thing because of hackers and the most problems that any exchange have from time to time, we can remember when the binance exchange have hacked, the website take this action after,and also the Last hacking exchange is Kucoin exchange in last few weeks

Bigger exchange sites like Binance,  Huobi put their large amounts of crypto  in their cold wallet and they manually process the requests when processing the withdrawal. I guess they have a huge amounts in their cold wallet storage.

@SciBoy What told us that binance is making use of cold wallet for asset safe keeping, according to what I read online is that most all exchanges make use of hot wallets die to some reasons like for fast trading time and rapid withdrawal processing. But I do not know the one binance is using, maybe not or cold.

It is not strange for Binance to have this number of Bitcoin , because Binance is already known for its high liquidity and money people have faith in it because of that, and the more people who trust in it the more they are willing to invest in it and the more its liquidity will increase, there is no need for me to check the information that you mentioned because I know it is true.

Binance is a good exchange you can hold your bitcoin on it. I think it's security is very high. It is safe and secure . Information that they have the strong arrangements system to secure funds. Binance always store their profits into the cold wallet.

This is a very good news , to learn that Binance has such liquidity of Bitcoins is is heart warming because it increases the clients trust towards the exchange , the clients know that anytime they want to make a withdraw, the exchange has enough coins to pay them. Building a trust between the customer and the exchange he uses is an essential factor to the success of the relation between them , and Binance seems to be doing that pretty well.

Sure is the right amount thats owned by binance exchange, but I don't know why currently binance doesn't listed in top five bitcoin holders while the second bitcoin holder is holding the amount of btc somehow the same with binance.

Wow! That's surely a lot of money. Something like that should be expected though, they are one of the most used crypto wallet if not the most used.
