Did you ever think about what will happen to your coins after you die?

If you die and nobody knows your private key,
then nobody will be able to use your coins, even your family.
All your coins will be lost.

We may think we will live for 100 years, but we don't know that.

What is your strategy for this? What will you do?

I sometimes teach somethings to my parents.If something happen to me then they can use it without having any problem.We should not take risks about this;)

If that happens then my strategy is this, I'm gonna place my Private Keys in the little box hide in my cabinet and there is a paper that I wrote " If I'm gone take my Private Keys, there are thousands of Ethereum and thousands of ERC20 tokens, Keep hold for Long Term"..

I hope you explained them importance of private key adn left them instructions how they can use it to restore and recover them on any wallet.

Well this is something that traders of advanced age have to consider. I think I would explain all of this (that I'm a trader) to a close relative, and teach the basics and the value of the smalls funds I have, so he/she can grow interest or cash out the money when I pass away.

Had occurred in my mind also about this. I had anticipated for something like this. I told my wife and siblings that i could trust to hold my personal key. I also don't have a long-term plan to save my bitcoin. Every month sometimes I Withdraw it for personal use.

I keep my family aware of the work I do and my purse keys are pointed and backed up because as we are today tomorrow we do not know not to lose everything that I have worked in total vain is my family and what interests me is that they can Take advantage of what I can leave you.

Some time i think about this how fragile is human life.That make me said how much i becom materalist  now.So my  wallet data ,passwords ,account information i shared with my close friend and family time to time not all but hinted them what is i am doing now.If something happend to me they must know about it.It is good to have my family after me.

I think you can save your accounts and private keys or wallet file to a one location only that is easily to locate and i hope that you have a 1 friend that they have an idea with this and if you're gone, it may help you to use your token and exchange it to a real money give to your love ones.

if i died, it means i can't used it anymore. but if i am going to die, i will sell all of my assets into FIAT money, because in my family, only me who understand about crypto. even i teach my brother about crypto, he still struggles to understand it.

Well, if something bad happens, that will gonna be the situation. My earned coins will be kept it secret for years and will have no access to all until someone finally hacks my account and stole the money from it.

Hmm, I really didn't think about that. None of my family interferes with my work. I believe that I should introduce them to the course of my main activity and leave them duplicates of my keys.

All people will die someday and we didn’t even know when we will die, so before that i already making some backup in .rar file with all my private key, exchange password, 2fa, some crypto account and just password it. If i’m someday die i already make note too for my family, best friend to solve the password that only closest people know the answer, Well, that was my plan and i’m already making the back up for all of that, i just need to make a back up, maybe someday, Cheers!

This is possibly the best advice that I've seen regarding handing your crypto over when you die. I don't believe in sharing your passwords or private keys with other people while you are alive, but you never know who you can trust (your wife might divorce you and take all your money and all your crypto!)

Like.i said in some.other post, I may not have disclosed my crypto earnings with my close families yet but I have everything documented from private keys to passwords so that they can easily access my crypto assets if that happens.

My husband and i very active in crypto world and we know about each other's private key, email, password and others. We also made a note of the manual in the book. If I die there is still my husband who can access our crypto coins but if we die then maybe our coins will remain in the wallet until forever.

Well I don't think anyone will be thinking on something like that, death is not something to be worry or thinking about but I guess my coins will go to who ever I give my private keys to, that will be the best so the coins shouldn't go to waste.

I believe I most have responded to similar post if not this, I can remember but for me, I have all my login password, private keys and the likes written down on multiple diaries for my family to access when the time comes.

I had just recently read about a service that is dedicated to solving this one problem. However, I had forgotten it's name. Another thing to note is that it is still not safe to use such service if the company has still yet to prove themselves, because you'll be entrusting them with your private keys.

I'm not sure what's going to happen with my coins after I day because I don't have a wife yet or any children to which I could let it. I guess in the future when I know I'm close to die I will leave the private key to someone, my wife most likely

I think if that happens my bitcoin and other alt coin will remain to the trading platform and to my wallet. Because no one know about my key. And no one can access it. Maybe it will be good for others because it is like burning that coin. And the supply will be reduce. Maybe it will help the bitcoin to rise it's price.

Yes, that can happen. So put all your covered coins in cash and you will have less problems. Just show your loved ones how to use crypto currency and private keys. None of this is insured

2020 market will give more benefit of the people realize the system so after that people are going high level so the hole system will growing surly but it's never doing I will take other way
