Can we teach about Crypto in school and university?

it would be a great idea if students are getting educated and learning about crypto or bitcoin stuff. i am betting that some professors that are also working here pretty much teaching it to their other students.

I think this will be a reality within the next 5-10 years. Crypto courses given along with physics maths and such it will be awesome!

Actually I've heard about blockchain courses in a few schools but not cryptocurrency per say. Like you mentioned, it will be wise if crypto is taught in schools in my own opinion too. Something shocked me last week, I saw an exam paper of a popular professional body, ICAN (which is an accounting professional exam) and guess what, one section was about bitcoin, ethereum and ripple. If crypto can be taught in schools, the scam notion will reduce and general acceptance will also increase.

Exactly, not because this is a new blockchain technology means everyone in the instructions have to learn it. Usually, subjects like this are thought in specific faculties/departments like you mentioned, IT

I believe as it has started already in some institutions around the world others will some follow suit as the society come to know how important the blockchain technology is and how it can change or improve many other economic sectors.

Yes. Allowing students to learn crypto will give them a chance to explore the crypto and maybe earn from it if they are cautious. Precautions from scammers and exploiters must also teach in order to fully understand the crypto world and its Fundamentals.

Learning cryptocurrency knowledge at universities and schools is awesome. I would not have to deal with the search for various sources of information myself, but everyone would be told by the teacher.

I think it’s a great idea, I’ve seen some articles about cryptocurrency has been teaching in some university in united states. But of course just like any subject it must be funded for it would be established well.

Teaching crypto in school is a bright idea, but somehow schools are controlled by goverment's. and we all know that goverment already tried to shutdown crypto but luckily all of them failed.

I don't see the utility on this, we're not a religion nor Herbalife sellers. Kids have different interests at different ages, the ones inclined to technology and/or economy will follow the cryptocurrency trend by themselves, will teach themselves and will learn alone. Maybe an elective course for university and not in all careers, it's my idea.

Ofcource it's okay to study about cryptocurrencies on schools and universities. 

 

When bitcoin is widely mainstream accepted kids must know how to use it etc like they are teaching now what dollars euros or whatever currency of their country.

On higher classes and university it should  be possible to choose a direction like "blockchain developer" or something.

 

But shall that ever happen? Most schools are restricted by government rules and does the government want to teach about a decentralized payment system which is not under their control?

In school I don't think it's a very good idea because child are still at a low age and they are not very interested in this kind of things. In high school and universities it would be a great thing to teach because blockchain technology is definitely the future and more people should learn about it

Right to say to learn more about the crypto coin is very hard to teach the new generations because they are not know about it and for understanding about the crypto world they will take more time.

I believe there is no need to introduce a subject about blockchain in a University or school. The younger generation that will be interested, then it will learn and eventually gain experience. And this means that the more people enter the crypto world, the more productive it will be

Because a lot of students spend most of their time in social media, sometimes they spend it for nonsense in social media, but when they learn about crypto and they got interested maybe they will have sense using social medias, and also to add some knowledge to them about how to earn money, negotiating or what so ever.

Teach blockchain to kids at school are a good thing in my opinion, we can teach about the basics of blockchain and crypto in a fun way. Furthermore, at the university we must teach it more in depth about blockchain technology which is very brilliant.
