Can we teach about Crypto in school and university?

Or should we see education about crypto and blockchain in higher education?+

I think it would bring great change in next generations, as maybe people of today are not yet mature enough to accept idea of decentralization

It is very good idea if we teach about crypto currencies to our kids or in school because in this way the more people will gain knowledge about the crypto coins that how to earn money from crypto, so due to this the more people will enter in crypto market, and if its community will go to increase then there is no doubt that one day we will see crypto currencies in every where as a mean of payment

I think this is a very good idea when in school, children have been taught about what is crypto currency. But maybe it can't be that easy, there are certainly some countries that still forbit it. Moreover, in the world of crypto currencies there is such a thing as gambling or crypto trading. May still be difficult for the wider community to accept if their children are educated from childhood about crypto. That in my opinion.

I agree with that opinion mate because nowadays the youth are already into internet as matter of fact their life has roled by those online games and if cryptocurrency would be taught in school or in a universities there's already a room for change and they would become aware of the current trends that they can earn crypto coins rather than being busy gaming without earning.

Of course we can. I think that eventually, cryptography and applied cryptography as school subjects will become mainstream enough so that the basics and the scientific fundamentals are widely known.

Minus a few exceptions to the rule, academia is somewhat of a laggard in terms of embracing new ideas and technologies. Maybe once cryptocurrency is more established in the world and there are standards and councils,  academia will try to speak with authority on the matter.

I think we need young people learning about blokchain and importance of decentralization.
They don't need to learn complex stuff from young age, but slowly get to know all advantages.
I am sure kids will be interested if this is presented in fun way.

It will depend on what position cryptocurrency takes in the world and where it strives.
If it strives to take first place in the financial infrastructure, then I think we can unobtrusively teach this subject in schools.

I think it would be better if teaching kids about cryptocurrencies is optional. I'm talking about as a university subject only as a subject course. For younger kids, an educational video might suffice.

For sure, I would like to see the Muppets and Disney princesses teach about cryptocurrencies and stuff. That would be a sight for sore eyes.

i think we education about crypto and blockchain should be in higher education as part of financial literacy in the educational system of a country if their government will allow it to be integrated.

What you are telling is all true, but for that first it should get legalized in your country then only you can do this, if not it will become that you are doing illegal activity. Until it is not legalized we cannot do anything in development of crypto. But blockchain technology is getting accepted in lot of places.

I agree with this mate but some countries they see on blockchain or cryptocurrencies are negative and cryptocurrencies are illegal in some countries, its not bad to teach in the universities this kind of topic especially to the finance student because they can gain knowledge about it how it runs the cryptocurrencien in market.

That will be a great idea to teach young people about crypto and blockchain so they can know that the new technology arrived and they are welcome to join and use it. I think we can teach younger people in university first to see how they react about crypto and if many of them an interest in learning more about crypto, we can move to other people.
I am sure that younger people are aware of the new technology, especially if they can have a new source to make money. They realize that the era has changed, and they need to adapt to survive, and with crypto, they will have a new way to make money.

I don't think just anyone can teach about crypto at schools and universities, cripto money is a major in business and economics so it's not possible to teach at school, Now there are several universities in several countries that teach digital currency and even have a master's degree, so to be a teacher you should have got  at least  a master's degree.

I don't think if it is good to teach about crypto for kids in school, It's like you want to involve kids making money in Crypto World it's early for them, let them enjoy being a kid.  I think it is better to teach in higher education so they will learn how to prevent scam and know more about the blockchain.

"IF the government will allow it" IF is the key word here because we know why we are still in this crypto dilemma is because of government attacks on crypto. Teaching crypto currency or blockchain technology in school isn't a bad idea but this can only happen in a country where the government are not hash to the crypto space.

No need to teach kids about blockchain and cryptocurrency at school. The child comes to school to get a high school education, become literate, be able to read, know the history and geography of their country. It is not necessary to teach in higher education institutions either. This should only be taught if you are studying for a programmer or the Faculty of Information Technology

We are in the industrial revolution 4.0 and mostly every devices in the world are connected into the internet. Millenials are not new to this technology. Actually they're already adopting it now and it's a trend. Blockchain technology can be taught in colleges, especially for students who are into computer related studies.
